If it helps, here's an explanation we have in a command on Mason's channel that goes over what EFT is: "DrLupo explains it best - Escape From Tarkov is a survival shooter/looter. You pick a loadout from your stash and go into an area. You loot and kill and pick up gear, items, and other in game objectives. The enemies you fight can be other players or NPCs. If you extract successfully, you keep that gear. If you don’t, you lose everything on you, both the gear you brought with you and what you picked up (some exceptions apply)."
@@Cyromento Absolutely! There are a lot of super hype moments in the game. He's taken a break from it for a bit though, lately he's been playing Apex, little bit of SoT some mornings, Age of Empires 4, and I think tried Battlefield 2042
He still plays sometimes, but there's not a lot of content aside from chasing running Reaper's, which isn't exciting 99% of the time. EFT is a great game, should catch a stream where he plays it some time.
You should check out some of Mason's live streams of Tarky. It's actually pretty entertaining and the chat community is awesome! But yes going with what Amallah stated, SOT just hasn't really offered much content since the It's a Pirates Life update.
