such bad info, kakatiyas did not grant Venkatagiri. It was established in 1600s. The mula purush of venkatagiri was nephew of a war lord with recorded history that can be traced 10 generations before him. Prior to Venkatagiri the family ruled whole telangana from Rachakonda and Devarakonda and served as viceroys and commander in chief of Kakatiyas.
