  • my new west eagle pipes on my vstar 250. Went to the hardware store for the makings of a bike lift. The pipes make a great sound and really increase the pleasure of riding my bike. I weigh around 220lbs and the bike never went much more than 70 mph with the stock exhaust. I can still do about 75 mph so the power is about the same.

    I just installed a T17 primary and a T42 secondary. This video was shot before the change. As soon as I get some new video I will post it.

    Nice riding videos on your channel. That little tank bag looks pretty smart. :o)

    Have you installed taller sprockets on your bike. It almost seems that you shift at a higher speed with lower engine RPM sound than my V Star 250. I get up to 90k (60MPH) and the engine is pretty high RPM. Like your ride videos. Thanks for posting.

    Hi Erik, we just Installed the west eagle pipes on my Vstar 250 and would like to know what baffles you put in yours. The ones that came with the pipes are really loud.

    Been meaning to ask, did you rejet after the exhaust install? If so, which size? I found the exhaust at webike, and they have the 6inch fiber wrapped baffles, I'm not having any luck finding those 9inch baffles.

    Rasshad, you just need the west eagle drag pipes, and two 1 3/4 inch by 9 inch baffles and some fine fiberglass cloth. Experiment with wrapping the baffles with the cloth until you get the sound you want , while getting the performance right.

    No need to rejet. Go to,any motorcycle parts store they will have the nine inch ones. Just get he right diameter.

      @ford120tractor  9 років тому

      If you get the baffle right you won't need to mess with the carbs.

      Erik Lund only 70? Before the sprocket change on mind I got it to 73 and it had more, only thing is that was plenty fast for me lol.
