I built one with a plank of wood and used cardboard to enclose the sides. I didn’t actually like the tall loft I built here, I have one half this height now.
The white stuff is corrugated plastic, you may know it as; coroplast, polyflute, cartonplast, fluteplast, intepro, proplex, correx, twinplast, corriflute or corflute depending where you are in the world. It’s basically like a plastic cardboard. I’m not sure about the joiners but you can also use zip ties.

The joiners came with the grids on Amazon! But yes, zip ties work too, you’d just have to cut them if you change things.

Where did you get the Coroplast for the bottom?
you can usually find it at hardware stores like lowes and home depot
For the grids did you choose the 4 cube option or 6 cube option to make a 2x4 cage
For just the 2x4 cage by itself it’s 12 grids total but if yu want to make a loft like she did then it’s 19
Man I want a Guinea pig but I am kinda forced to get a small cage because I go to my dads house a lot 🥲
