Great pattern 😃 And really simple models 👍 But having made a few pairs of shoes before, I would suggest gluing another layer of rubber sole on top of the first one. Mainly to protect the seam, but also to keep water from seeping into the shoes thru the seam holes 😊 It's just a tip if you plan on using them outside on a rainy day 😉
I'm so excited! I've been trying to perfect Eastern Woodlands Moccasins (Cherokee, NC) for a while now, so this will be a fun break from someone whose plans I KNOW will work!! I ALWAYS enjoy working with your plans because the final products look amazing, and the plans are always super easy, and they just plain work! EDIT - I just bought the patterns. YES! I'll never buy shoes again!
Those look great! I made a pair of your flip flops for my wife and then both daughters AND grandaughter demanded their own pairs. Thank you again for all those great patterns.
WooooooooooW THAT‘s awesome!!‘ I really can‘t wait to build this & HOPE there are Perfect fit but for that i trust Tony his Pattens Are ALL AWESOME Jazzy Steampunk & so easy to build!!! The BEST LEATHERCRAFT Community ON THIS Lovely PLANET ♥️🌍 Selfmade is the Best
thanks i made a pair with some really thick leather i had in my shed for the sole and some chrome tan for the rest even made an inner sole out of chrome tan eyelets for the lacing points and some reinforcing of the stitching real nice pattern
Love your videos Tony! So full of great information and humor, always stop what I am doing and watch your videos when they publish! Thanks and keep them coming.
Very good video. Those are very nice patterns for basic shoes. You're right again Tony, a very good camera helps creating very good pictures for our leather products.
Tony, I enjoyed the non-leather leather tools segments. Many of us learning from you are just getting a little shop together and spend a ton of money buying the wrong things. Maybe professor Tony can compare a bad idea with a good one and explain the differences. We can take the info about what to look for, AND THEN buy what we can afford.
I thinking a sheep's wool lining would be an comfy addition. Have some nubuck leather I've been struggling to find a use for. Think I've found a use now.
How long do I have to wait until they make themselves? Do I need to get the templates and soles from your site before they make themselves? Will I need to do anything like cut the pattern out and punch holes? Great video, I wish I had this before I made my all leather moccasins.
This is awesome! If I wanted to add a thicker sole (something that has better tread/grip, could I glue it to the bottom of a rubber or leather base? One suggestion for modifications to the shoe patterns: A small loop/tab on the back of the heel in the center. It can help prevent the heel from pinching in at the back and, more importantly, should let you hook a finger through the loop to make pulling the shoe on easier. I'd love to see the loafer pattern made in to a monk strap shoe. Or combine the loafer as a taller shoe with gaiters to make a boot.
I bought/downloaded this pattern, and I have a few questions: What type/thickness of leather would you use for the shoe part? - would 4 oz work? Can I use make a sole from leather... then glue on 5mm EVA ( dense foam) and a rubber (antislip) just to have a thicker sole? Thanks!
This is a great tutorial. If I want to increase the size of the toe box, for example; by 1-2 cm, would I then increase the size of the other pieces by the same amount?
hey Tony. thank you very much for your tutorials. they are always awesome just something i noticed when you are cutting your papers due to oversized parts. why do you cut both papers and then have to struggle with the alignment? just cut the one on the line and paste the other ontop of the uncut page? much easier and less cutting work
Hey, what's wrong with my feet?!? My wife tells me I have very nice feet. LOL 😆🤣 Almost every picture I have taken of things I've made has my feet in them. I almost had an accident when you said that. ROFLMAO Thanks for the picture taking tips. I'll have to wait for the camera 📷😩😫. Take care and stay safe.
unfortunately the pattern size list doesn't list any wide sizes..I checked because I have a 5 5E size foot, extra extra wide.. guess I'll stick to making my own shoe patterns
good afternoon, I made shoes size 42 according to the drawing, and when I sewed the first upper part to the bottom, it turned out to be 2-3 sizes too small. Question: Do I need to initially take size 44-45? foot length 27cm
Anyone have a line on a suitable sole material in Canada? Amazon.ca isn't worth looking on as the only suitable product is way too expensive and probably way too thick.

Watching you grow in your production quality and skills is amazing. You rock!
Thanks Tony, great knowledge to have for when things might be hard to get. Making your own, invaluable.
True! I never see preppers mention this.

I love your sense of humor. Lol. “I’m not responsible for that.”
Tony, thanks! Can't wait to try these with some Vionic or Orthofeet orthotic shoe inserts. Cute, comfy and some arch support.
Awesome tutorial! I'd love to see a stitchdown desert boot pattern in the future if at all possible :)
Exelent Craftsmanship 👏👍😊

just cut the one on the line and paste the other ontop of the uncut page? much easier and less cutting work
Do I see the join in the thread just after the heel, when sewing upper to sole? I would like to have seen how to do that neatly!
Great style.
Love the moccasin idea- question - if i lined them with sheep skin - do i move up 1/2 size? Or not bother?
Amazed, you are hatim taeyyy. Love from Pakistan
subscribed. your amazing
Woo hoo! Let’s do it!
WOW, great!
Can you make pattern and video for historical boots, please?

Hate is the internet's engine...
His competition, I'll bet, he is amazing!
@DieselpunkRo where do we get the 1mm stitch groover?
Hi Tony
Does it have different shoes sizes ?
Many thanks
Yes. Absolutely
GOOD DAY
HOW CAN I HAVE THE MOLDS OR CAN YOU SEND IT TO ME OF THE BEAUTIFUL SHOES PLEASE.
Free Stuff 😄😄
Do you have a link to where we might be able to get that 'dedicated' 1mm groover? Or am I going to have to make one?
Hey, what's wrong with my feet?!? My wife tells me I have very nice feet. LOL 😆🤣 Almost every picture I have taken of things I've made has my feet in them. I almost had an accident when you said that. ROFLMAO Thanks for the picture taking tips. I'll have to wait for the camera 📷😩😫. Take care and stay safe.
were can i buy the soles
Does the sizing include 12 wide? I have a big fat foot.
unfortunately the pattern size list doesn't list any wide sizes..I checked because I have a 5 5E size foot, extra extra wide.. guess I'll stick to making my own shoe patterns
Can you explain how to work with the sole, adjust the size and make the holes?
Everything is already sized. No adjustments necessary
@@DieselpunkRo Well almost. If you wear a 2E or 4E then these patterns will need to be adjusted.
Like Good !!
Hello! Would you tell me for sewing one shoe not the pair, how many times of thread's length do I need? Thank you.
YES!
good afternoon, I made shoes size 42 according to the drawing, and when I sewed the first upper part to the bottom, it turned out to be 2-3 sizes too small. Question: Do I need to initially take size 44-45? foot length 27cm
You need to print the patterns at actual size No adjustments are needed
@@DieselpunkRo ок
Do the patterns have multiple sizes? My size 10 and my wife's size 4 are way off from eachother
Вы как всегда на высоте и дай бог Вам здоровья.Спасибо
Tony I was considering purchasing the pattern, however I couldn't see any sizing for the footwear. I have very big feet UK 12.
Should be included
Hi all. What soles thickness is recommended?
Hi Tony My feet is wide you have pattern for wide feet I want to buy this
my foot 282 millimeters, what size i have to choose? 46EU?
Ohh myyy gooodddd
For wide feet have pattern ?
What size are the pattern for this one
Let's gooo!
OMG 🤩

Aí cara muito bom
Hi I purchase this pattern never received it please send me the link or refund me my money
I'm gonna use buckles instead of laces and glue the whole thing onto a rubber sole so they look like renaissance shoes
the right and left edges are narrow, it does not wrap the foot well
Attenzione manca segno di attacco sulla al n. 42. ??????
