- A little under ten minutes of dying light 2: stay human parkour, using the physical parkour settings and the gritty visual shader.

This is the type of parkour i like to see, i dont mind the flashy tech parkour tricks and all but this is a real parkour showcase

@@dyinglightcentral yessir, you should also incorporate the feel of running thru buildings and also parkouring off vehicles for an enhanced feel of zombies

Beauty. Gonna have to do a play through and go survivors bc the PK was not worth it. The parkour options, zip lines, vents are so much more useful.
They really are! Because of how I play anyway I use those mostly more than the pk stuff especially with it all being on the ground
If you think so man, they get pretty useless when you have one level 9 weapon and a uv bar.
@@Dovieky I thought the same thing but I’m doing another play through, and I swear the PK shit was a waste of time. I don’t run around on the floor I’m constantly on rooftops and I always go out at night. So I need the traversal to escape the volatiles and virals

this feels like Mirror’s Edge but simpler
Mirrors edge’s parkour was what got me through the pain of not being able to play this game up until release. I must say the parkour is definitely harder in aspects compared to mirrors edge, but the skill floor for this game is set fairly low on the lower difficulties.

My gamma settings are on 10 sometimes under depending on the time of day and glare, it’s almost impossible to see under 10 if there’s light in the room 😅

is this the normal fov? or did you change it, if you did what fov are you using in this vid? oh also one more question what is your gamma? for i have the gritty color but this looks way better
All of my settings are in my newest video! I’m using the gritty colour setting too! My gamma is on 10, and my fov is +10 than the average (max fov)

I’m on Xbox too! FOV options are only available on next gen however there is a method to change your fov on last gen consoles
@@dyinglightcentral Oh i thought FOV was only for pc and ps5! never knew it was xbox series x, because im on xbox series s i sadly dont have it but hey its no big deal

Nope! I’m using the gritty setting with my gamma on 10. Most of my videos (besides this one) have the exposure turned up to make them easier to view on mobile :)

@mikeyyaylan2748 the one used during the missions is cut and sectioned to match gameplay, most of the songs are like that
on 2:08 how do you boost in midair while jumping like that?
When sliding, you can press and hold the jump button to do a far jump, you can also use after boost during the far jump to go even farther. Hope this helps! :)

Of course! I totally prefer this compared to dead island, the world feels much more alive and impacted

Not that that’s a bad thing, but I much much much prefer having a vast and open world no matter how repetitive or low detailed it is
Wish virals chase the player during the day like they did in dl1 personally as good as the parkour is I personally dont like how easy it is to avoid zombies during the daytime
Especially with the paraglider! It’s super easy to just fly away and forget about them right away
2 things they should include is either more demolishers in free roam instead of having them confined to specific area/ mission or in a new dlc give the enemies guns / bows and arrows/ catapults so that there's a risk to using the paraglider out in certain places honestly wouldn't even be mad if a demolisher sniped me out the air while I was paragliding
I also think bolters are way too easy to catch and that the zombies are too slow at night time especially when it comes to climbing honestly having a volatile climb a building equally as quick as aiden using the trampoline or paraglider is balanced tbh and in dying light 1 volatiles jumped like 4 times higher than crane and were at least 2 times quicker and everyone had a blast with it. Still crazy that there is no night hunter/ be the zombie in DL2 as it would be the perfect match for Aiden's speed, strength agility and parkour. Granted mirror's edge offset faiths amazing parkour skills by having her be chased by a helicopter or be cornered and forced to fight her way out but honestly if it came to foot chase absolutely no way the police were going to catch faith and even in the game as it is they all have stormtrooper aim when it came to the guns.
The only reason I don’t play this game anymore is because of the series S not having a fov slider😢
Good news for you! The newest roadmap showed an fov slider coming native to the series s! If you have access to a series x console (a friend of family member has one maybe) you can change your fov through signing in on that console and opening the game back up on your main console
