Nice work gentleman!! Thanks to all that had a part in this. I ordered a gasket and lock seal when Dan first made the commitment to produce the gasket. Really glad I did not have a mouth full of coffee when two comments were made. (Ugly stripper and honeymoon lube)
Nice Job! I was fully expecting one of the windows to crack being so old and brittle. Great job working with that and glad no cracks were made. I've had my windshield replaced 3 times now over the last 40+ years but never tried it myself.
I think having three guys with experience is the key to making this look so easy. I bet just two could make it work, but I'm sure it would be a lot harder.
Great informational video. I've been wanting a Bluebird Wanderlodge for many years now. I'm finally retired and I'm trying to educate myself as well as I can before pulling the trigger, but it's definately going to happen!
Nice work fellas, and that is a bit of work. Not bad with 3 guys and Carol to keep y'all in line! I was just messing with a windshield on this plastic fantastic I have been messing around with, boy is it alot different than a Wanderlodge. The window frame is all fiberglass, it moves every time you bump on the glass to try to get it to seat. Window opening may have been cut too large, there is a gap in the seal that whistles when you go down the road. I tried to get the seal back but it just keeps migrating back and pulling away from the "frame". Told my buddy to take it to a pro and let them remove the window and see what is going on.
Randy, Marc Pease (Marc_in_ct) here - I was awoken by thunder at 1:30 am so I turned on my TV and this video popped up at the top of my UA-cam feed. I don't know if I will ever need a new windshield, but if I do, this video has all the info needed to get it done. A big thank you to you, Carol, Dan, and Rutledge for this!
Looks like you did a great job Randy and crew! But I thought this was just a test fit anyways. You have to pull it back out to put sealant in between gasket and motor home frame?

2 could do it Chris, but 3 sure makes it better!
I really enjoy videos like this one, learning the Procedure for the windshield will most definitely become helpful in the long run.
thank you!
I never realized how hard it is to install a monster windshield like that compared to a pickup truck glass.

Thank you for sharing!
Can’t wait for my new windshields and gasket. I have more crack in them then a plumbers conference. 😂
Nice work guys! You made it look easy

I was going to comment on the smell, and then I realized I don't have a sense of smell. LOL
No, but I still remember you telling the “ glug, glug” story when the black water tank line broke pulling into a parking lot 😅

Yep,its a test fit but now that Dan has a source for the liquid urathane we can pump it into the grove and around the frame.
Thats the ideal solution.
Will there be a rubber available for a 1994 WB?
Yes,i think Dan has them in stock, call Coachparts
Where is Jerry?
