- Version 7.4 of Filmic Pro brings another first for professional video on mobile: full support for LUT import. You can now import .cube LUT files into Filmic Pro and apply them in the preview only, or burn them into the final recording 🎉

The Imaging Panel is home to the new LUT pane which is designed for LUT file management. Tap on one of seven empty slots to load a LUT on your device via your smartphone’s file browser. It also offers the ability to nickname, replace, or remove a LUT.
For lightning-fast application of your LUTs, Filmic Pro now includes a brand new LUT Quick Action Modal (QAM) which can be assigned to any one of your six custom viewport buttons. From here you can quickly switch between LUTs, choose between preview-only or burn-in application, and when in preview-only mode you can access a visualization suite that lets you preview your applied LUT in a side-by-side or diagonal split screen.
This opens up new and exciting possibilities for smartphone filmmakers:
• Capture in Filmic Pro’s flat and log gamma curves while displaying a rec709 normalization LUT in the preview only to ensure you get perfect results.
• With FilmConvert and Cinematch now offering full support for the iPhone 14 Pro and LogV3+, you can export camera-matching profiles or film emulations from these plugins as LUTs and apply them in Filmic Pro.
• Create a unique aesthetic by applying your favorite LUTs and burning them into the final recording to accelerate your capture workflow.

Love the LUT support. I just loaded up some Fuji Film Simulations (Acros and Velvia). Amazing. 2 questions, any chance you can burn the name of the LUT into the metadata? Secondly, Still photography support? Cheers.

Hello, could you please help me or someone else? I'm recording a video using the iPhone 13 Pro at 24fps 4K and also using the OM5 gimbal. I'm moving slowly and using ND filters, but when I slightly tilt the camera, the video becomes jerky and not smoothly continuous. Can someone advise me on what to do? I'm using the Filmic Pro app for recording. How should I have my phone and Filmic Pro app set up for the best result to have a nice, smooth video? Thank you for any advice.

why are you guys so focused on iphone?
We are equally focused on Android. We maintain feature parity with each release on both platforms, and our Android team is the same size as our iOS team. We love both platforms and try our best to create the best experience on both.
Does Filmic Pro record CFR or VFR or is that a function of the Cell Phone (Samsung S22 Ultra)?
All smartphone on the market to date use VFR. Hope this helps.

I am new to filmic pro....unable to see my recorded video on my device... where are the videos being saved?
Press the play icon lower right . This will list any vids you recorded

Currently we only offer rec709 LUTs for iOS. However... if someone were to create some Android specific LUTs that would be great 😉

How to enable log v3+ in iPhone 13 Pro Max
Select ProRes as your capture format under Settings > Video menu, then open the Imaging Panel and tap on the gamma panel. You will be able to select it there.
No samsung s23 vlog3 cinematch luts :(((

Is there a free version for Android?
You can use all functionality without subscribing, including LUTs, however a subscription is required to take footage out of the app.
Great….now, fix FiLmic Remote! It doesn’t work with the updated FiLmic Pro!
