Tracking is a useful feature on DJi mimo app. By now for tracking moving objects better use Dji mimo app. I hope this feature to be added in next Filmic Pro update too.**Update** : Due of the Dji mimo limitations and Osmo Mobile incompatibility, I'm seriously considering a gear change to Zhiyun Smooth 4 which has better integration with Filmic Pro.
Is it possible to have the same functionalities as the native application, joystick to pan and use the zoom rocker a the same time instead of having to switch from one mode for panning to another mode for zooming which is not very convenient from my perspective , so may be an option in the application to decide whether we want to use the zoom rocker to zoom or to switch from one mode to the next mode ?

No mention about switching the camera from front to back for vlogging (press the trigger 3 times). However, when I do this, and it switches to the selfie cam, the focus reticle is locked and I am unable to unlock it. Is this normal?

I just sent my day old om4 for warranty work. :50 sec mark. Vertical or horizontal, u can see horizon is off by a few degrees. Let’s see how it is when i get it back in a few days.

I like the filmic pro very much, but I'm also disappointed. I can't connect to the external camera. e.g. How to connect a WiFi camera like sony rxo ii or Sony ICL QX1,Qx100,Qx30. Because smartphone cameras are too small, many point-shoot cameras have 30x zoom and most cameras have Wi-Fi, so there's an extra obstacle in the video. Is there any possibility of a filmic pro software upgrade in the near future, Using external camera?

Why would you use the zoom rocker and not like the mode button. Like because now you can't control the zoom and the pain until you know like two extremely important things you know like the almost entire purpose of a gamble?
In practice all way too complicated. And still no active track. Get sick of all that switching between different apps, my brain gets confused all the time, mixing things up.
Any advice on how to import FiLMiC Pro video to mac without losing file size? The latest content on this subject recommends using iTunes, but iTunes does not exist anymore so what do all these amazing filmmakers using this app use to transfer from iPhone to computer?
It's better for android phones as we can't access shutter speed, aperture, or iso on mimo. Also, you can shoot in log mode for editing. Plus, it can do other stuff like locking focus, shoot in tons of different fps modes, etc.
Is it possible to save the starting and ending point of rotating the gimbal so that it moves at a set speed in the recording (movie / timelapse)? What I see is that I would have to manually move the gimbal with the joystick. I'm just testing the new version of the app

I tried using filmic pro + dji osmo 4 yesterday and didn't work well. When I was pressing the joystick left to right it was changing the focus while moving and the other way iso was going up/down while moving. any help?
Why is it so complicated to use? 😩 Operation with the DJI Mimo app is much easier. When zooming with the DJI Mimo app, it switches from Wide to Ultra Wide and Tele. FilmicPro only zooms digitally.
The Filmic pro Evaluator app says my LG G7 is compatible with DJI Osmo Mobile 1 and 2. But I have the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 - this isn't compatible with LG G7 and FilmicPro app?

Mode switching is the key missing feature for me. Crazy that DJI didn't have that built into the hardware at the outset, so you can do it from any app.

Hi Jade. Selfie lenses use a fixed focal length and cannot be changed so this is expected behaviour.

You can now use the gimbal knob to pull focus in FilMic Pro which is a big benefit.

If you can successfully balance your gimbal with an HDMI adapter attached, then yes!
You can cast your screen over Chromecast... You still get clean hdmi

Some people do, others get better results with it enabled. Please test to see which delivers the best results for your shooting style.

If you're device supports FiLMiC Pro, and you have the most recent version installed then it will work great.
