If congruency, similarities and circle theorems was on google maps I would simply rate half a star and say I found a dead cockroach. Every single time I’ve done past papers I’ve struggled so much with only ONE SINGLE TOPIC AND IT’S SIMILARITY AND CONGRUENCE 😠 NO MATTER WHAT, MOCKS, SMALL CLASS TESTS, NORMAL WORKSHEETS, SELF PRACTICE, EVEN AN ONLINE TUTOR. I HATE THIS TOPIC 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😡😡🤬 anyway my real exam is in less than 6 days, wish me luck 🍀😢😢

thank you so much i always struggled with understanding geometric proof so this is really helpful! it still confuses me a little but that's because i forget about the basic knowledge for it.

at 29:30, if I had used the circle theorem of angles in same segment are equal and then found the other things you had done following up to it, and use the AAS rule, would i get the mark?
Does the way you write the letters matter like with the first practice question u wrote AB=CD can it be AB=DC or does the way you write it matter??

At 24:38 could you have said that angles AEB = DEC because opposite angle are equal when two lines intersect? Would this be a valid point in a congruency proof?

For the first practise question could you say that vertically opposite angles are equal
Absolutely! Just as long as you meet the 3 part congruency proof any method is fine!
for the final question I got the same answer but did
BA=BD as the chords for both subtend the circle so are equal in length
BD=CA as given
Angle BAD= angle CDA as angles in a semicircle are equal
congruent by RHS

Sir for these congruency questions there are many ways to do isn't it . I just wanted to make sure because at the end my proof is same as yours' but the sides and angles I choose are different .

There is typo error in your second example, in the concluding statement, it should be triangle ABE.
