- In June 2023 I set myself the challenge to visit all 92 stadiums of the Premier League and EFL during the 2023/24 season, and fly over them with the drone.
In this video we visited Fratton Park in Portsmouth
Fratton Park, 44 Frogmore Rd, Southsea, Portsmouth, Southsea PO4 8RA
The drone I used is a DJI mini2, as it weighs less than 250g I can legally fly within 150m of buildings and 50m of people. I can fly it over the stadium providing no event is taking place, take off and landing are on public land, and visual line of sight is kept at all times.

Fantastic video. Probably the most historic football stadium in the south of England. So much potential for redevelopment behind the north stand. A proper football stadium.
The Eisners have given us a ground we can be proud of . No one has done this much work to the stadium in my lifetime and that’s 70 years .Thankyou . At last everything is coming together an we are being run properly .

First time I've seen one of your videos. Great to have a different perspective. Drones have certainly revolutionised aerial photography - it used to be a helicopter or plane at vast expense...or nothing. I'll be at Fratton for the first time in a couple of weeks for the Charlton game so this was a good introduction.
The ground looks much improved since I last visited there in the 90s with West Brom for the final match of the season when winning meant we could stay up sending blues down . What a day , great memories, unbelievable numbers brought by us and the atmosphere was electric. Good to see it looks like Portsmouth have finally turned the corner, good fans and club.

I've been going to Fratton Park ever since the away end didn't even have a roof. 🤣 Moved down south again recently so I'll be able to attend more games than before.
Bro I assume your using a DJI mini or maybe not as you would know the area is not restricted but it is restricted to fly over the ground I know I live in portsmouth and have owned multiple drones
I use a DJI mini 2. On drone assist, all stadiums are marked as potential hazards due to the fact that you cannot fly over crowds, so avoid matchdays. On the DJI app, it is a geo zone which you have to unlock, again for the same reasons.
