Spacers are not the problem. Complacency is the problem. Torque your shit properly and in correct service intervals. I have run spacers for years and many of my customers do too.

That dent in the trunk from hitting a pole....I made one of those dents before...only it was in my driver door.. shattered my femur and a whole bunch of other breaks and injuries on my left side. But I'm still here, and I'm still wrenching, and I'm still racing 🤙
Super glad Tokyo and his dad are OK! Please put a roll cage, racing harnesses and a fire suppression system in Maliboost 2.0 and in all your other race cars. Cars can be rebuilt or replaced, you guys can not!
The car community is amazing..I bought a malibu about 20 years ago I gathered almost everything I needed to build it ..it was going g to be a 671 sbc with really good parts ....I sold it after I got married to buy our first house ..then I became disable. I thought my car life was s over . Well the car came back up for sale as a rolling chassis my broth bought it back my friends painted it and all so all pitched in and gave me parts so now it's going to be 871 bbc ..9inch and fully build 400 turbo with trans break ....love all your guys videos ...

It's been a long time since the first videos I watched on building the first ls. Boosted has been one of two channel's builds that I actually watched along the way(other is Neil's 86 on juciebox). You guys both have made me laugh my ass off watching over the years. That's cool shit that you got Tokyo a new ride to work on. That dude had me Rollin the first time I saw him in a video. Glad everyone is safe. Use this as a reminder that it is never a bad time to check wheel nut torque, whether there are spacers or not, regardless of horsepower. That said, at the horsepower the cars on this channel put down, I would torque them before every drive. It takes like five mins, dude, but it may save your life.

Agreed. I wouldn't trust those bolt on aluminum hub adapters/spacers on anything. The safest spacers are non bolt on and hub centric to the wheel and hub, of course ARP extended studs are a must.
I feel that seatbelt pain Tokyo is going threw. In 2019 I was in a wreck like that. The seatbelt about took me out. All because of a seatbelt I had to be med flighted to the hospital 65 miles away. Had to spend a week in the hospital. And the person that was riding with me didn't have a scratch on them. That bruise on the chest and shoulder from the seat belt lasted for 2 months.
I've had pretty good luck with my cars and spacers. Tho none of my shitboxes make anywhere near this power. Good to see everyone was ok. Cars can be rebuilt. I betcha that old man was having the time of his life tho.
