I walked into a GameStop sometime in ‘04 and saw they had RE2, RE3 & CVX on the GameCube for $70 total. Never knowing those existed before then I snatched them up and had a blast. I’m happy I did because I never saw 3 or CVX in the wild since then.
I actually didn't know about the sega Saturn version having 2 tyrants cool fact Ant.
I'd say Resident Evil Deadly Slience, Resident Evil 4 and 5 Steelbooks probably the most prized things in my library

Edit: I think my rarest RE item is Wesker's report DVD, it's the UK version in the bigger case which I never see on Ebay, it came free with my copy of RE CVX that I've had since launch, it's a little beat up but still plays just fine.

I actually picked up the Sega Saturn version of the first RE at a big flea market here in our area about a year and half ago. The guy of course knew what he had but after showing him my RE setup and talking, he gave it to me for 100$. Instructions and case etc. hell of a find at a flea market. 😅
The code Veronica music box is my ultimate want. I'd trade (ALMOST) anything for it

Only handheld I ever had was the original Game Boy. Never played Gaiden, but I remember one of the songs sounding like "Making Christmas".
And man... Demo discs.. There was this kind of weird novelty about gaming in the 90s and 2000s. Gaming just made sense back then. Now, the industry is too big for its own good and it's treated more like manufacturing instead of an art form.
Those are awesome, particularly RE for Saturn and the demo disc. I recently got one of my holy grails, the Japanese Biohazard 5th Anniversary Suitcase, it comes with copies of Code Veronica and every Biohazard game released until then(2001) along with a bunch of goodies and the Wesker Report DVD.
Like 20 years ago I found a Samurai Edge airsoft gun at a flea market. It had STARS on one side & GUN SHOP KENDO on the other. Then one day my friend pulled back the barrel to cock it & I guess it was cheaply made because it literally exploded into a million pieces when he did lol.

Gday Anthony, You and I are the only resident evil collectors I know that have that kiosk demo disk… and I also got mine from eBay 12 years ago for $8 dollars Australian… not sure the seller new what they had lol … cheers mate
I played through Saturn RE couple years ago. Its pretty tough because no auto aim but cool version ! Tip to anyone interested in Saturn version , PAL version is much much cheaper if US version is too much

My top 5 rare flexes would be a mint set of the DC/Wildstorm Code Veronica 1-4 trade paperbacks, a CiB Gaiden, the Electronics Boutique RE4 demo DVD disc (not the GC one), a CGC 9.8 of the Marvel RE1 promo comic, and the entire Toy Biz collection. I've loved this property since day 1, my wallet not so much! 😂🧟♂️ 🧟♀️
I’ve have gaiden in my collection, we have had it since the early 2000s and never got rid of it .. it’s hard and I have never beat it.. the theme song gets stuck in my head tho haha
I believe the rarest thing I own is the Moby Dick Nemesis Type 3 complete figure. Video makes me wanna make a video myself on my resident evil treasures, awesome video dude!
Lol RE was never a cheap series to collect for and it’s only gotten more DRAMATICALLY expensive in the past 4 years.
Always wanted to get the sega saturn north america version of resident evil, but i got the Japanese version instead. I love the cover of the North America Sega Saturn. The japanese version is cheaper to get. Gamecube code veronica is pretty rare and expensive.

Resident evil deadly silence seems to have shot up in price I remember buying it for like 20 bucks for a trip I was going on. Rare item i own is an the umbrella cane umbrella from the capcom store that i never used and RPD shirts I got off that store. I have no idea why these random items have sky rocketed in price.
