Hi and welcome, I'm so glad to have you here. It's a 48 needles machine. Works well for hats, thinking of buying a small one (27 needles) for preemie hats and skinnier tubes. ☺

I have the 48. Love it. I also have the smaller one. I love making house slouch socks for my hubby and myself. And our 5 grandkids love them too.
