Have you ever played #ark, and wondered what unconventional dinos you could use to beat the bosses? Enter the underdogs! In this limited series, I dust off seldom thought-about tames and put them to the test! Today, the time has come to close the chapter on the island dinos. Welcome to The Island Finale! 44 episodes showcasing the island underdogs resulted in 41 competitors receiving a final grade and 6 of them moving on to the finale. Watch as the allosaurus, chalicotherium, megaloceros, dire bear, stegosaurus, and sarco journey through the tek cave to take on the gamma, beta, and alpha overseer! It's time to ascend with underdogs!

I've loved this entire series since the beginning. You say thank you but I'm gunna deflect and say _THANK YOU_ for this. I'm working on my own channel and I know how much work and passion and drive it takes to make stuff like this. One of the things I love is finding new and interesting things to try, and I live for the underdogs proving themselves. I am a huge fan of the Megaloceros and your work has shown me there's nothing they can't do. Keep up the great work, mate! I would totally vote for you to get a shot at getting involved with the Monarky series put out by Raasclark and the rest of that crew. You'd absolutely bring something to that table, full stop!

A great finally though I think it would have been interesting to see if the megalosaurus could beat the overseer if they had to walk the cave.

I love the dire ear. Totally underrated... Sigh. I have no idea what I'm going to ride on ASA: Scorched Earth. The Bear-gaid will have to sit this one out.
Megatherium! I've been using them on my scorched earth hardcore no flyers playthrough and they're solid

🥰 Thank you for this series! It was great! Whenever researching how to complete the boss fights, always being told to use such a limited selection of creatures was always such a drag for me. I never liked the Rexes, so that made it boring. I used Chalicos in my first playthrough, it will be fun to go back to basics and take them all the way to the end.

For the mod series, I’m really looking forward to the cerato fight, also the deinosuchus is an absolute monster, like it comfortably sits up with the big dogs like rex and theri, possibly even outpacing on occasion, they also take reduced damage when hit in the face, but not as drastic of a reduction like trike. Also vid 2 of asking for purlovia special

Took me long enough
Really thanks to your video, that I learned and found the most optimal dinosaurs to fight the boss instead of the usual rex, I even defeated the alpha dragon 8 times of which 3 times I only used 1 yuty and 10 therizin, how to fight under the dragon is very effective, Therizin sometimes don't even lose a drop of blood if they control them properly, thank you 👍

actually megaloceros,direbear and challicotherium should have hard time in real situation due to yutyrannus fear roar who will make them flee in the lava.
for the fight stego are not bad if you are in coop to block minion and help dps to focus on the overseer ^^
I always bring a strong rex or something to go ahead of the party and clear out the big bads before moving up.
Or I just don't use any dinos!

yo, last month I have succesfully beaten the ARK for the first time and it was surprisingly on the alpha dif :D I did it with dire bears, I mean.. those mutated mf bears :D and it was thanks to you ^^

this is just my opinion, but i think if u brought these into the tek cave, i feel alot of them would of ran into the lava from yuty fear roar, and i feel using other creatures kinda beats the point of the video where ur meant to only use 1 type.
Absolutely, every one of these would struggle
but even in ASE official, right before the last sharp turn by where the giga spawns, you could unpod dinos.. so get down there, unpod the dinos, and beat that boss! (Yea, yea, I know officially you can't uncryo the way ASA official is set up, yet! but you will some day :) )
