- Yemen has been facing its worst humanitarian crisis in decades. Thousands of people have been killed and millions have been displaced after Saudi Arabia launched a military offensive in 2015.
The poorest country in the Arab world has become a playground for regional and international powers.
Saudi Arabia considers Houthi rebels, who control vast swathes of the country, an Iranian ally and a direct threat to their security.
Three years into the war, the country has been devastated and civilians are bearing the brunt of the war.
About 17 million Yemenis will face famine if humanitarian aid does not reach them soon.

Its really sad that this happen to a neighbouring country of a super rich Arab. Saudi$ has no problem saving/feed 17million refugees... but yet seek international help, embarrassing country.
I live in Saudi Arabia and I'm not going to lie you have a point but Yemen has been in this state since October of 2011 and taking the country alone might not be the best Idea because of that would cause a Huge war between terrorists and Saudi Arabia which would not be the best idea, probably leading to Yemen's Population decreasing immensely and southern Saudi Arabia has a chance of being in danger from Yemen terrorists or bombers getting inside

Its insane that this is still going on. In the day and age where the richest country in the world has a gdp of over 20 trillion dollars, we are able to put people on the moon and so much more, and yet conflicts like this still exist. I would actually argue the opposite. You think people didn't close off their countries to immigrants decades or centuries ago. No mention of the reported oil finds and the needs of Saudi Arabia needing a port away from the Persian gulf where it can currently be blocked by a coming war with Iran. So a port to the south is needed, plus the possibility of stealing any oil found in Yemen to make up for the dwindling Saudi reserves.

The blame for the Cholera outbreak is 100% on the Saudi led coliation the put a blockade on our exports and imports and they also put an economical blockade and they let Hadi move they central bank of Yemen from Sana'a to Aden before this happend the Houthi Saleh government were paying all the salaries but after this they cut the government income to the Houthi Saleh government now they are not capable to pay the salaries which cause the people who clean to strike which led to cholera. if the Saudi Qatari backed Hadi did not move the bank this wouldn't have happened and why doesn't Hadi pays the salaries because he and gis government are all corrupt even more corrupt than the Houthi Saleh government way way more corrupt. So what caused the starvation and cholera in Yemen the Saudi led coliation with Qatar and other countries with the support of the US UK and France

@@biancadive1 Qatar was a part of the Saudi led coalition and they were involved militarily they only stopped their involvement after their dispute with Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt. And I mentioned Qatar by name because Aljazeera is supported by the Qatari government and started showing news critical of the coalition only after they were no longer involved in the coalition and if they were still part of this coalition they would ignore news from Yemen unless it is news that glorifys the coalition.

I had a Yemeni friend. He told me about the war. He taught me about Yemeni traditions, I taught him about civil rights in America. He didn’t know that black people were slaves way back and didn’t know anything of the race relations in America. I like to think we learned about opposite sides of the world.

From all the history I have read of the “Middle East”, both modern and ancient, the entire region seems to have been in conflict, tribal disputes, etc etc - way before oil or its modern uses were discovered. The ‘conflicts’ seem to be sourced more deep within the blood running through the veins of the people, not just over the oil sitting under the sands.

Qatar is ( Was ) a part of the Saudi led coliation's aggression on Yemen and they also bombed in Yemen and they also supported that guy ( Hadi ) in 2012 and in 2015 and now they are trying to get out of the trouble of the war crimes they have commited with the Saudis.
My uncles house got bombed but it hit our back yard thank god and when we went out side other houses got hit but not us thank god.
