Bought A Suzuki Sf 150 this February. I have taken it on roads, off roads, highways. Agree with most of the things you said....although they could have improved on the rear brakes, they wear out pretty quickly. Great mileage, smooth ride, butter smooth engine, good comfort, great suspension, good pillion comfort, a good sports tourer, good ground clearance, a good beginner, just Fantastic bike. Only negative points are small windsheild and there is no hazard light switch, especially when you are paying Rs1.75 Lakhs on road. Overall, a great bike, QUITE UNDERRATED in the segment. Love it. Always gonna recommend this.

This bike is air cooled but still touring is possible on this bike . This bike has Suzuki Jet Cooling System(SJCS).SJCS is modified feature which has a jet underneath the piston that sprays engine oil directly beneath the piston and cools it.

I own older version, on highways 84kmph is sweet spot but I keep 100~110kmph. 😁😁 Topend I did was 130 but it requires very long stretch. 118 120 comes easy ( Older version )
I bought older version of Gixxer sf couple of years ago and i am completely satisfied with it. It is the best choice for me as it is my first bike it is a good all rounder of the segment. My top was 124 on highway but cruise speed i recommend is 80-90 just like you said. Only complaint i have gear shifts hard sometimes. But there was no other bike i would have rather pic at that time maybe r15 v3 but that was about to release into the market i am not sure whether it has good quality and also R15 is not suited for touring but you can tour on sf
I m having one. 2018 naked version. Solid mileage of 60 if u keep speed 60-65kmph. But if u go beyond that mileage reduce drastically in mine, because it is a carburettor bike, not FI. FI versions gives around 50-55 for my friend (2020 version) in mixed riding condition.
So finally the view of instrument console from viewers point of view is better now. In earlier videos it was hard to see what you were saying so I just used to skip those part 😅

Removed the awful saree guard, rear mud guard & put on a taller windshield with a 46 sticker and having a cracking time on this bike !

But I could see ur videos have great clarity and color rendition than others using same camera. What’s the secret behind it ? Which software are you using to edit ur videos ?
The visor looks unique but if its not doing what supoosed to mignt as well but a bigger visor. Ive seen many people changing the visor on the gixxer. It looks good.
Being a 2016 gixxer owner, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. They have very bad service center , which wouldn't be problem if they allowed parts to be sold! , But no, you cannot buy parts from them.
I will be travelling from salem to bangalore(200 km) for my college studies and I might travel often on highways, will it be good enough? And weather to register bike on Tamilnadu or karnataka?
i went for suzuki gixxer 155 naked bs4 . cheaper and more powerful than bs6. cheaper and lighter than gixxer sf. For my city ride to college and back and some other tasks i dont need fairing and all , so the weight and cost saving was there for me with the naked + suzuki messed up bs6 compared to bs4. they only added voltage meter in bs6 and reduced power

Proud owner of Gixxer SF 155. Giving good mileage of 50 kmpl in highway. Definitely a head turner look wise. Except some heating on bumper to bumper traffic no issues so far. Mirror lacks visibility of adjacent traffic. Gearbox and clutch is tight and will tire you in traffic. Cruising in 70-80 kmph is the sweet spot with absolutely no vibrations below 6000 rpm. Only downside is the lack of a sixth gear and led indicators. The low visor will annoy sometimes but is something that can get used to.

In short, less powerful but more comfortable than the R15 v3. On the R15, the wrists pain a lot quicker and the suspension and the seats are a bit harder. R15 outdoes every 150cc in the performance department but isn't a very good everyday sports commuter.

I thought it was air cooled without piston jet cooling, because Suzuki doesn't mention in the brochure.

Nothing new in it. Dominar have it. Infact all newer Bajaj bikes have it. Hero Xtreme 200R and other bikes also have this jet cooling.
