    I wouldn't want to be on the car what's stationary. But they did very well! Usually they just hit 50km/h on the side now days right? Oh yeah, and that blue one is a MKII 1975-1979 modell. I just love 504's!

    I wonder if the 1973 Peugeot 504 was safer than the 1979... this is a lower severity impact than the NHTSA test but the injuries were a LOT lower here...

    I saw a Peugeot 504 and a Toyota Cressida being hit in this fashion. I promise you I'll rather be in the Peugeot. The Toyota doors where pushed to the middle of the car without damge to the other side. The Peugeot seem to distribute the force right accross the car since the other side also bends out but the cabin retains survivable space. In the Toyota both passengers on the impact side where crushed to death. How do nodern cars do at this speed?

    Peugeot 504 is rock solid, no doubt it survived all those years and still working like storm
