I thought it was so kind of Barry,to give the interviewer a great excuse, for her hot flush. He just told her it was sitting so near the lights, that was making her hot. What a gent he is.
Barry was so nice taking the ‘maid’s’ hand as she’s being pulled out of the room; “it was lovely to see you dear!” The look he gave Robin as Robin made the crack about the journalist falling off the balcony was priceless!! Maurice looking at the camera and saying, “you’ve gotta keep this in!” As the window cleaner opens the door!!
I have watched this a couple of times. Just love it. They are all so patient, so kind, just wonderful gentlemen and so down to earth. No matter how famous they became, they stayed grounded.
Still a giggle whenever I see it. The look Barry gave Robin when the interviewer went on to the balcony and Robin thought it would be funny to make a sound and a gesture with his hand as if she fell off. Maurice getting up and mocking the prime minister and she walked back in and Maurice pretended he was going to look out the window. Barry saying she has a condition and Robin spreading his hand to do the lights on, lights off joke. 😂😂😂 The show this was taken from was called Noel's House Party which aired live every Saturday night. He developed the Gotcha awards and caught a celebrity out every week - some were super hilarious, they're on UA-cam under Gotcha. Noel was told that the BeeGees were boasting he'd never get them, now there was a challenge Noel wasn't going to let go. He was great mates with the guys anyways - they'd appeared on that show a few times. He got them good. I was saying on here last night that my channel has over 400 videos of the BeeGees - everything is on there. The interviews, the funny clips, the live shows, unseen footage, rare footage. Anything you want to see you'll find it there. Gotcha is there too from a few months ago. Terrific interview! I really love English humour. The best part " They are horribly nice " That's one of the reasons why I love the Bee Gees. So hilarious 😂😂😂 Excellent reaction Chad.
At 6:15 Rob's "startle"? It's his classic response to (usually) Barry interrupting him. It popped up a couple of times in the funny moments video yesterday too.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this. They’re all so funny, and very polite. My favorite part is when Barry waves off Robin trying not to laugh. It seems to be theme in these funny moments and I just love it!
This video is hilarious! I'm so glad you agree! It's so great how nice and gracious they were, despite all the chaos around them, when they were just trying to have an interview. While they may have been having a really good day that day, I still think it showed their overall personality. I'm so glad they didn't give the host what he wanted!
As many of us told you Chad, it's much better to see certain entire interviews first, so you can get the jokes on the 'Funny Moments', and as you can see, these guys are full of very good sense of humor, good manners, humility, a class act through and through. Thank you for this great re-re-reaction, I can notice you enjoyed it as much as we always do. That remark on Barbara is hilarious, also using the name of her songs LOL you are the best!!!
Chad OMG - You cracked me up with the Barbra Streisand bit!!! Robin - "We're actually filming Debbie does Dartford".🤣🤣. Robin - "Waiting for John Major (the PM) to walk through the door. Hello!" Barry - "She has a condition". Being SO polite about her hot flashes.😊 Making excuses for her with the hot lights. I like Robin's usual response when cut off mid sentence @6:18. Barry - "It's Basil Fawlty" @8:18. Fans of John Cleese and "Fawlty Towers" would get that one. He was the manager of a hotel and treated guests as inconveniences and NOTHING ever went according to plan. An hilarious series, IMO, the best Britcom in history. I assume those were their license plates at the end. The host was certainly hoping for a bit of temper but he got humor instead. So many little bits between them that we couldn't even hear. British humor is beyond reproach. It vacillates from cerebral word play to just plain slapstick silliness. The Brits are truly schizophrenic! 🥴🥴THANKS CHAD!
@@Zlata1313 - I've watched it dozens of times. My favorite is the German Guests. The guy sneaking a woman into his room is hilarious too. Poor Manuel. Thanks Chad! These guys were always funny. You will see more of their personalities on documentaries. Always joking. Love the British humor. The best!!!
Well, they never felt like supastars. Stardom-arrogance did never take place on their way of life. Humble people lettin' nobody feel being lesser worth at all. And strange situations were well known by them. Being kids and singing to adults in Australia, which fought by sitting on the table. Or the Jakarta-story. Open airconcert by rainy weather and lots of water on the stage, which is very dangerous because of all the electrics. They were told if the band, which played before will survive, they also had to do their job. Soldiers with guns stood in front of them. But I do not know, if they made their performance, only I know, they survived.
Yes, as they said Aussies fought sitting down lol. The scene in Crocodile Dundee was based on reality! Monsoon in Jakarta, Suharno's troops with guns in front of the stage!
Like Barry said, “You caught us on a day where we were all in a good mood!” I have seen some Bee Gee interviews that didn’t go well…as in for the person conducting the interview. Or when the questions have double meanings and cause them to be very upset. This one, however, is fun to watch. All 3 are in good moods which helped considerably.
