Hello, I was searching for a while a pouch like this, but with a small change. In fact there should be a metal clip instead of leather loop. This would be useful for a cases when pouch would be wore where no belt is feasibile. Or when it is needed to sit down often so the pouch could be mounted/unmounted easily. Just think about it, it simple idea but i can't really find acceptable realizations. Awaiting for your reply.
I like it. How would you say is the best way to get hold of leather for leather working? (For a beginner who doesn’t necessarily need top notch leather)
Watching these videos makes me want to run out to my garage and make the same thing. And then I remember I don’t have anything more than a screwdriver, a roll of half-used duct tape, and an old Igloo cooler. Shit.
A nice bit of workshop work, thank you, it made me think I might give it a go. However (and I’m not trying to be a pedant) surely you were never in the Boy Scouts unless you spent time in the USA... the Boy Scout Association in UK became the Scout Assn in 1966 (I was there!), and Scouts were called that, from then on, except by ignorant journalists on TV and radio! I don’t think you’re old enough to have been Scout-age pre-1966! Regards, and thanks again for the good video. Les
Simple and well presented.
Thanks for giving me some inspiration for an idea I have.
Thanks. Hope your idea works out
Nice pouch. What leather thickness works best for pouches in particular ? Do you use anything other than veg tan , with the same results?
