Agreed, colour coded maybe, I still love the vehicle though, if them coatings started to fail in six months or so could look like a scruffy car very quickly but I’m older and too sensible to look past that.
Every Audi say on your forecourt is one less sat 3 inches from someones rear bumper being more important than everyone else, which can only be a good thing.
I like it. Audi actually do this themselves call it the black edition (different wheels obviously). My only constructive critistism would be to replace the cenrre caps with black Audi ones.
My current car is an Audi A6 C8 Avant, fabulous car, same model as yours the S line, what have you done!!!Some things are better left as is,especially when I think the car is pleasing on the eye and the wheels WTF NO Joe!!! 😮However Great content, Cheers
I much prefer the look of the car though Joe. I also really like your Cayenne V8!! Was looking at those before purchasing my Panamera Diesel ( in white ) with black wheels funnily enough
It suits the gun metal colour & definitely looks great. Personally I prefer it OG with all its Jewellery, but thats just personal preference. Hope it sells well fella. All the best
Love it. Exhaust tips and some spacers would finish it off nicely. Personally would have tried to get some of the oem 20” S Line 5 spokes. Budget aftermarket alloys on a car that expensive doesn't quite seem right but get that it makes sense to keep the same tyres etc.
Hi Joe after watching Dave and seeing over last few months how successful he has been with making his changes I hope you have the same success, think he tends to just out source the work on his apart from maybe internally changing the grilles , but if you can do it internally why not , very best of luck watch this space 👍🏻
Hello from Ireland again, Joe. Great idea bro. It looks 100 times better. It did look a small bit plain, but it's away better. Keep up the great work Joe. 👌👏👏👏👏
Interesting idea to generate a sale. If I was looking for one of these, I would have been happy with the alloys but the other parts would put me off as they would scream boy racer to me. I await the outcome with interest.
Pop the exhaust tip on it and I think it will appeal to the customers you have in mind. Alloys wouldn't have been my choice but personal preference and you have data from your co-host to support the decision. Hope it sells quick 💥🏎️💨
All the silver accents inside the car now no longer match the outer. But i can see why you've done it, and it does look decent. Plus, it's your car. You can do what you like with it after all. You defo haven't ruined it.
Fair play to you for trying it. Works for Dave’s market, bound to work for the chavs in Weston 👍🏼 at least you can say it’s been modified but not raced yet
Looking good Joe, Im a fan of Pimping stock up a bit thats not selling,>Its a really hard one to call but up here (Scotland) and where I am some times its a step too far. For example, Black wheels seems to put people off but going from a standard 16, or 17 inch to an 18 or 19 seems to work (specifically on Audi and VW stock which is pretty much what I sell. Great channel
Well done on the Audi, looks great and hopefully the right person will come along and fall in love with it. It looks just that bit different from the norm and some people like that, and it will probably be unique in the area in any case. Fingers crossed!
Looks great with wheels and maxston design body kit, makes is stand out from all the other A6s on the market. Keep up the modifications is nice see something different
It was fugly before and it’s still fugly!!! Having said that I doubt if most Audi drivers will notice they’re too busy carving everyone else up!!! Hope you sell it soon though Joe. Be interesting to see if you can get the £57k you want for that Taycan
I think you have improved it a ton - especially with the wheels and dechroming it. It’s like adding a sport package. Not crazy about the rear spoiler but I don’t hate it. I would bet it sells pretty quick.
Enjoyed the video - I think black wheels (maybe even the OEM ones in black) and blacked-out chrome would have done, but like you said, won't suit everyone. I'd skip the splitter/diffuser. The spoiler is probably ok. I only think this because people will look at that and think it's been ragged around and/or an ex-dealer's car. What's the deal with the Taycan in the background - didn't see a video about it? Is one upcoming?
Love those wheels! Mate you got any BMWs running 18s because I have a nearly brand new set of msw74 gloss blackwith Michelin pilot sport 4s (1mm used and BMW spec ones with star) that I had on my 4 series before I sold it and they’re just sitting around right now. I paid nearly 2k for both together but would be open to offers over 600 which imo is well worth it because they transform the car. I could even drop them off.
Looks way better Joe! Sometimes you just need to think outside the box, much better chance of selling now! I have Maxton bits on my RS, great quality and looks cool 😎
You should have had a few more shots of the full car once finished. With the OEM plus look do you make sure any potential purchasers are aware of all the mods so they can get them declared on their insurance? I could image some people thinking it was as it came.
Certainly attracts a different market. Personally not big on black wheels generally but looks better than standard I would say, good job overall hope it sells
Great idea to freshen up aging stock. Not sure about the boot spoiler, it looks like batmans mask. Front grill and wheels look well. Did you consider having the original wheels painted rather than replaced?
To be fair, it's a really nice car and looks well priced, but if it's been sat for that long with no interest, then i think you've done the right thing. It would definitely appeal to me and I'm fairly sure it will be far more appealling to a wider audience. Fair play for taking the chance 👍
For a more OEM+ look I'd have had the trim vinyl wrapped in gloss black as that matches the OEM option. I'd have also opted for a smooth rounded boot lip spoiler rather than the one with the cutout as it looks a bit tacky in comparison.
Did you know OEM means origional equipment manufacturer. So, for example, in the razor industry, the OEM for the sainsburys' hime brand is Edgewell, who makes Wilkinson Sword. Not sure thats what you meant by OEM ?
I am rather partial to the all black look which is how my current BMW is. Me personally would have gone with genuine Audi wheels and either had the originals done or found a used set and got them refurbed and done in black , however those Fox wheels are nice. Looks really smart , certainly has presence but whether it will help it sell you just never know. It’s a good experiment for you and we may well be seeing some more blacked out examples at Berrow Motors soon. 👍
Certainly an improvement with the more aggressive look, which would be particularly suited to the usual more aggressive Audi drivers ! The boot spoiler though, yuk, a spoiler of the boot indeed. Worth trying these changes to the car, and expect it should now sell much faster, so hopefully money well spent.
Joe, have a look at FullDip. Works the same as plastidip but you can get it in metallic colours and either leave as is for a matte or satin finish or they do 2 gloss products. One is like Glossifier and the other is a bit trickier but better gloss and solvent resistant, Would be a little harder to peel off but doable. “super acrillo barniz” Spanish brand so I’ve probably misspelled it, best practice is to wait 24 hrs after the colour before spraying or it may react in my experience 👍🏼
"I like to buy cars that are a bit interesting and stand out" -> should have maybe angled the camera away from the vauxhall mokka for that segment 😆 (Great channel btw!)
It’s a matter of taste how you like a car, that’s why motor manufactures have an options list, it may not be to my taste but the next guy in line may like it, lots of OEM cars out there but not so many with mods.
Good on you for trying something to perhaps appeal to another market for the A6. I think it would have shifted by now if it was an Avant. I think all Audi’s in A4 and A6 Avant variant look better and are more sought after than the saloons.
I would buy the car and the first thing I would do is switch back to silver rims not necessarily the ones that came on it but silver appeals to me more. The blacking out of the chrome around the windows is a plus. I would pull off the cheap spoiler. Defuser is fine but I could get one I like better. Be interesting to see if interest in the car increases. Too bad you are in the UK. Good luck.
Sold mine about 1 year ago, superb cars, super comfortable and smooth...if its not selling ill assume its got galactic miles, especially at your price point, which seems very very cheap for a 19plate sline
It’s a great approach. After all if successful then you begin to create your own niche by tricking up a few of the cars you sell. Nothing ventured and all that!
GLWS. Not my cuppa ☕️. I like the dechrome though. Couldve got a satin/matte finish on the wheels… unfor with gloss you visually lose the design within the arch so they look like dustbin lids
Cheapened the look of the car in my opinion but credit to you the car is not selling so you are taking a risk and doing something different with it. This black out look is very popular at the moment. Good luck
Fox alloys man, i thought these were only applied when cars crashed into a Halfords shop window, those and JBL stereos. That being said, get rid of the fox badges, put a smaller spoiler on it, not one that you look like you've got from AliExpress for £10.50 and its a massive improvement.
Sack off the fox centre caps and put some nice fresh audi ones on. Makes them look more OEM+, otherwise you'll have it another 60 days. Also allow the customer the option to have the oem wheels
As mentioned, centre caps need to be audi, fox are cheap and cheerful However, I prefer how it looks. Spacers 100% needed Black the badges front and back
I like it, I don't love it but I like it! maybe a nice H&R lowering spring kit would tie it all together nicely? costs around 150-250£ they sell the complete kits @euro car parts
I'll be honest it's not my cup of tea,but I like the fact you're not sitting on your hands, and you're trying something different to shift the stock, and I know it will appeal to someone.
Not for me, they are the type of mods I wouldn’t really say would attract buyers of A6’s. Probably mods more suited to small hatchbacks to attract younger drivers
I told my insurance that I put spliters and a spolier on my old car and wheel spacers . It didn't change anything. My mate had his car wrapped and it never affected the insurance.
@@Neil-Hanson67 I bought it like that from the garage that's all you need to say what can they say as long you haven't then insurance or abit stopped lol

Wheels would of looked better with Audi centre caps, especially as FOX are known as a bit of a budget brand but overall I liked it 👍🏼
Would have...
Agree , also think a more subtle boot spoiler aswell.
All black wheels are a no in my opinion. Just looks like the hubcaps have fallen off
This is exactly what I thought. I do like the look overall though.
Not a fan of the boot spoiler but the rest works, some Audi centre caps in black would set the wheels off better IMO.
Spot on
Agreed, colour coded maybe, I still love the vehicle though, if them coatings started to fail in six months or so could look like a scruffy car very quickly but I’m older and too sensible to look past that.
I agree, that boot spoiler could actually be creating drag instead of increased downforce unless the car has been tested in the windtunnel.
The black looks far better than chrome. I'd personally have left off the boot lip and kept the audi caps on the wheels.

I’m a 76 year old fan and love the changes. Nice !
I would keep the OG alloys and offer them to the new buyer first as you can guarantee when they go to sell it the garage will ask for the OG alloys
It suits the gun metal colour & definitely looks great.
Personally I prefer it OG with all its Jewellery, but thats just personal preference.
Hope it sells well fella.
All the best
Looks great Joe, needs exhaust tips and wheel spacers.
Grill and front end looks great , overall big improvement. Park it out the front , busy road, it'll get noticed 👍
Love it. Exhaust tips and some spacers would finish it off nicely. Personally would have tried to get some of the oem 20” S Line 5 spokes. Budget aftermarket alloys on a car that expensive doesn't quite seem right but get that it makes sense to keep the same tyres etc.

Yes, Michael. I have been watching Dave's channel as well. And I totally agree with you bro. 😅😅
I think you’re onto a winner there Joe 100% improved the look of the car. I’d deffo stick some spacers on for the finishing touch.
I would always put original centre caps back onto the wheels it just keeps it looking original

Cover the interior trims with carbon fibre effect films (but I personally prefer real carbon in my own car).
Rear spoiler a bit naff Joe! Maybe gun metal grey wheels with Audi centre caps👍👍
Fair play to you for trying it. Works for Dave’s market, bound to work for the chavs in Weston 👍🏼 at least you can say it’s been modified but not raced yet
Rule 1, if modifying a car the new wheels have to be bigger than the standard ones or you just downgraded it with cheap wheels.
Looking good Joe, Im a fan of Pimping stock up a bit thats not selling,>Its a really hard one to call but up here (Scotland) and where I am some times its a step too far. them mods have 💯 lifted it,puts it across to a wider audience..
Great job 👏🏽
Looks good Joe, does make a difference to the look, audi centres for OEM look 👀
I approve!!! Looks sweet!! And I’m not usually one to say that about an Audi.
No fair play looks good, interesting about the Plastic spray…..what exact name of it looks good. Glad you kept the badge silver looks better that way.

Nice touch with the Audi good call on the extras the wheels, spoiler and de Chrome set it off nicely 🎉
Get hold of some Dynamic Centre Caps (£100) from Audi. The logo on the wheel stays level. They look really nice!
I'm just a woman who likes nice looking cars and I love the new look Joe. Its a thumbs up from me, good luck in selling it 👍
