Hope you folks had a good week. Also, interesting thing to note...apparently if you buy a house but then you save and exit the game and you come back...the house isn't there anymore. No big deal though, we'll get even more money and buy an even bigger house, you know how it goes.
Just for once, I want Gray to just knock down all the interior walls of the house and fill it with all the crap he wants. Please like if you want him to do this.
I want him to knock down everything in the interior, and leave just the 4 outside walls and sell it. I wanna see how much he can sell it for with the house being 1 giant open floor plan💀💀🤷🏻🤷🏻
If you pay attention, you started with around $27,000 and supposedly got around $4,500, but you got back with about $34,000, so selling all their things did work.
Gray don't sell every thing around the house you cant just sell everything the house is so empty the people cant live like this and don't tell eric ballman
3:58 no we don’t have to pay anything 😊 well, technically it comes out of tax money which is why the national health service is slowly falling apart due to the government barely caring about it. I went in with a sprained toe and waited for 5 straight hours. My mother went in (she’s 51) and waited overnight for a procedure that took 5 minutes only to be told to come back the next day.
Gray about the hospital bills: In the past we didn’t have insurance and hospitals were way cheaper. But when insurance companies started they told the hospitals they didn’t want to pay the same price as regular people because they paid in bulk. So what the hospitals did is inflate all the prices, sometimes making things 1000% more expensive but making it way cheaper for the insurance companies. So to this day, people without insurance are paying the made up prices (yes, really made up. Hospitals literally just picked prices at random) Edit: check out They are billions, awesome game.
you guys do realize that at least a portion of the extra they charge goes toward paying for resources lost and expenditures on treatment when someone gets treated for life-threatening situations and, can't pay due to: lack of income (as they aren't allowed to take away from someone's paycheck past a certain point while said person's income is below a certain point), death (the patient dies after receiving treatment, costing the hospital without any chance to see a monetary return), and people that file bankruptcy to nullify outstanding bills at the cost of credit - if they didn't charge extra, only those that could pay would be treated (whether they pay through insurance or have it in accounts)
Me and my wife had 3 kids. First one $23,000. 6 years later after we paid off Meredith (with interest $36,xxx), second child, $38,000 had better insurance this time so billed $16,200. 5 years later 3rd and (now must be) final child $82,000 (emergency C-section) no insurance because we were laid-off due to covid. When covid blows over we will look for ways to leave the US and seek a better life and employment elsewhere.

Gray to answer your question, in Australia medical care is free, elective operations cost and if you want private insurance is available to those who want it. but the service provided by the government service is perfectly fine as the only time you need to go to the hospital is in an emergency and admittance is fast.
Why are hospitals so expensive? Lots of reasons. Part of it is paying for the malpractice insurance.
