Absolute masterpiece!! Listen to that music, look at that world, it's characters, the creatures, the environments...man, still to this day this game is a staggering achievement for the 32 bit era and gaming in general. Very few games even come close to matching the unique sound and design of this series and this game in particular. I keep saying it, but until Breath of the Wild arrived, Panzer Dragoon Saga was my personal favourite game ever made and I consider it an utter pleasure to have experienced this game upon release and still own my day one copy which is in near mint condition. This game holds a special place in my heart and I hope one day more people will get to experience this truly incredible title, Sega at the top of the game. Sensational video.

I never stopped thinking, If only... if only SEGA won against Sony... Maybe we will see more of this series. Panzer Dragoon is such a unique experience for me. And Saga is my favorite game ever.

Dragons are criminally neglected in gaming, yet apparently don’t sell all that well anyhow which is why the Panzer franchise died. Unfortunately, the years haven’t been kind to Saturn games, and Saga is no exception. Looks like ass, although running it through Mednafen with some video tweaks helps somewhat. If I could get only one game for a wish, it’d be PDS 2. Not even a question. Hell, even a remaster or remake of this would be great. Source code lost, but could be reverse engineered. Thanks for the tribute.
Whoa. I never have any Sega console (besides Genesis that only works for 4 months) but I might bought one if I knew about this game. Would be great to have a remake of this game. I don't really know of any game that plays like this.

Several years ago when I was still living with my parents, it was possible; almost. I don't remember but I either had an issue swapping to disc 2 or the emulator crashed or something but I didn't get to beat the game. SEGA needs to listen to their fans on this one. Not sure what their budget is but so far all they managed was to finally give PSO2 an official US release & a silly Sonic movie (Is it Dr. Robotnik or Eggman? Make your minds up!).
My issue with Sega is, Where the hell is a true next generation Panzer Dragoon? I want something open world, with true freedom of movement. Something with the charm of past games, with the technology of newer games. I love the panzer games, but don’t understand why we haven’t gotten a new one for all systems and so long. Not a remake.
Has anyone done another game like Panzer Dragoon Saga (a map crawling, RPG with Rail Shooter elements, and a turn, timer, and position-based battle system)? I imagine it's possible someone has done this in Japanese, Korean, or Taiwanese; if so has it been translated to English or any European language?

The track is called 'Atolm Dragon' and is found on the official AZEL/Saga Soundtrack.

Vastly superior in term of story, design, sound, and perhaps graphics.
