And I have to say I love the way you group and describe fragrances. It makes it so much easier for the viewer to grasp the vibe. Otherwise it really is hard if we have not smelled them 😊
I recently smelled Roses on Ice as it peaked my curiosity... The cucumber note was super green and just too much for me to handle. My favorite Kilian is Good Girl Gone Bad ❤🔥
My favorite category of fragrances ☺️ I would say the way u described sonic flower is spot on! I get great longevity with it although it’s intimate-moderate projection. I love molecule 01 layered with all of my musky frags, something about the pure ISO e Super smells just like the dry down of glossier you! Have a wonderful day 💗
Not so much musky but my lightwear go to is TF Grey vetiver, or a really pleasant scents with a lingering presence are JML Earl Grey & Cucumber, or 154, barely spoken about but they are any occasion scents ☀️
Hayley - A couple of thoughts and questions. 1. Would you consider Nothing But Sea and Sky in this category? 2. Sonic Flower (I have 10ml) is the grown up version of Glossier You 3. Of the ones on this list which ones would you consider year round? Roses on Ice would not. I have tested this a zillion times and it’s a summer drink - the end. Happy Wedding! @@hayley.clough Given your love for Une Nuit Nomade I'm surprised. It's on my list. Also to consider for future reference, MFK's 724. I just got the 30ml (yes, it's expensive). It's the musk for the power player. I love it. It's modeled after Manhattan, but even if it wasn't, it gives off power chick NYC vibes. And in other news, MFK's Aqua Media (not that musky) is good! Surprisingly.
@@kuklakid to me 724 smells like Byredo Blanche and Une Nuit Nomade Sun Bleached. Of these Blanche being my favourite. I also love Nothing But Sea & Sky, but they are out of the 50ml.
I know, I am slowly collecting all of the Une Nuit Nomade fragrances. I’ve had great success this far with the brand. You will likely see my own it in the near future I am sure. Thanks for the feedback on Aqua Media too, so intrigued!
If you haven't smelled Rrose from Ellis Brooklyn yet please do so its STUNNING! Its my favorite followed by Myth from the line and I also like Salt. Im curious about the Sonic Flower Fragrance Im going to keep an eye out for a decant that carrot seed note makes me nervous. I love the packaging for the Estée Lauder frags as well. Most of the scents were a bust for me but the one you mentioned was up my alley and I picked it up. I felt like this video was made for me I recently purchased Musk Therapy. I clearly apparently love musk scents.
I blind bought Van Cleef’s Bois D’Iris and omg, my signature scent. It is so nice! But the projection is not that great. It is similar to Loubirouge, but less sweet and more ambroxan. I would add Gypsy Water to this, but I know You do not love this one. I need to get a decant of Musk Therapy asap. 😂

My beef with Musk Therapy is that the initial blast of the clean fresh spa-like green note is evanescent as it quickly turns sweeter on the skin. Dommage !
Oh that is a shame, it doesn’t turn sweet on my skin so it could be skin chemistry? Or we just perceive them a little differently. Do you like Rehab by Initio?

I don’t currently own Nothing But Sea & Sky right now or Valaya. I would say they both fit in the category, although Valaya is a little more floral sweet too. 🫶🏼

I adore Poudre d’Or. To me it smells magical, angelical and so comforting… exotic but luxurious. Golden powder as the name suggests 🥰

I appreciate that you mention sensuous stars, it doesn’t have musk listed as a note officially, but I get musk, especially in the dry-down.

I don't understand why people describe Tardes as a clean scent. To me it is an almond creamy deliciousness, almost gourmand, nothing close to clean)
I don’t get gourmand at all from it. Fragrance is very subjective though, that is the beauty about it. We all smell different things 😊

I personally find Poudre D’Or really hard to dislike, it’s such an easy fragrance to wear. Soft, gentle, elegant and pretty. 🤍

I wear Musk Therapy a lot more, it’s my signature scent. Apollonia is stronger and heavier on the musk if that helps you decide
