I know you made this a while ago, but I just wanted to say thank you because this is the only video out of dozens I watched that actually solved my problem. Once I replace the thermal switch, I'll have all our fog machines up and running for Halloween. 👍

This looks like it's probably my exact issue based on your description. My unit also starts up and displays "HEAT" but will not heat up. Thank you for the video!

I’m getting the same thing on my hurricane haze 4d fixture.

Where would this be in the 4d?

@@Mrcherrywood I'm not familiar with that model but maybe try calling Chauvet to see what they can recommend or if they can send you a schematic diagram. Else a local dealer might be able to help. Good luck!

Helped me out big time. Was about to throw this machine out. I tried and it worked but in a few minutes it tripped back out. Im going tomorder the part you mentioned. Hows it working so far?

It was working great for me. I ended up selling the machine to get a vertical fogger a few weeks back though.

What it was doing before replacing the switch?
I have the Geyser RGB and sometimes it will work fine but later it won’t work like its been paused !!! then I will wait 30 sec and it will work again

Before replacing the switch, the unit wouldn't heat up or operate. Only the fan would come on and it would say "heat" on the LED display. In your case it sounds like your machine may have an auto thermal switch and you're hitting the temp cutoff point. Chauvet tech support is actually pretty good so it might be worth reaching out to them if you need more help in diagnosing.

I just went through my hazer . I have the D2. Looks like the heating element is made of lead and it melted …….
