    100% percent of decisions are sales. What shirt to wear? You sold yourself on the red shirt instead of the blue shirt. What's for dinner? You sold yourself on fish instead of chicken. In every decision made, something wins the sale and something loses the sale. Why did you see a certain movie? Just think about it. It's actually fun.

    Interesting presentation, but the person filming it don´t think the slides are important enough to film them... witch leaves the viewer to try to guess what´s on the slides based on what the presenter is saying...

    20:30 in fact I think it usually inverted today, the buyer knows more than the seller because they research the specific item whereas the salesperson is not well versed in what they are selling.

      Sometimes true. In IT enterprise sales we have to spend ages educating the customer because it goes over their head.

    western consumerist thinking, interesting how deep the wound is, capitalism is ingrained so deep few see any alternative, we make desicions when we buy things, but decisions aren't limited to buying things. there are alternatives to capitalism, there are more efficient systems, based on compassion rather than greed, things that don't have to be bred into us making us look at each other as competitors. When did the product of our work, the contribution we're making to the people we love and the appreciation received need to be backed up with a monetary reward, when did we start selling out? Why have we produced a system based on these coersions, complications and subsequent moral dilemas. there are better ways, we don't need to be distracted consumers confused by monetary barriers...consuming is fundamentally important but relatively simple logistically, it doesn't have to be what lifes about and we don't have to spend our lives counting economic fictions. TZP have some good ideas, the venus project, hippies and david greaber all have good ideas. everybody has good ideas, they're just limited by old ideas.

      The first ancient barter system operated on the premise that 'I will provide benefit to you in exchange for you providing benefit to me'. Would you say that this system is a sell out?

      "Humble Man", so you're an anti-capitalist? Exactly what successful operating system of freedom have you found that works better than capitalism? Tell me where that country is that's doing an alternative. Have you ever thought of capital as TIME, FREE THOUGHT ENERGY, PHYSICAL ENERGY? That's also capital. Capital can be more than just money. ANYTHING of value that can be exchanged with another is CAPITAL. Perhaps your mind is so "ingrained so deep" in socialism that you can't see any alternative?

      @@davefroman4700 you’re still trying to sell me on the fact you’re right. Selling is about persuasion. Not about facts. Ethical selling should be based on facts but unfortunately selling isn’t always ethical and even when it’s ethical it’s not always based on facts.
