But I agree with you, if people would simply obey God and not to do that then they wouldn't even be need for a discussion in regards to capital punishment. However, since people choose to disobey God here we are talking about it. I'll say it again it's easy to spare somebody's life when they didn't kill your daughter, your son, your mother and that is why we should not be the ones trying to take the right from the family. I firmly stick to that stance
I understand completely BUT this is the United States and we do not mix religion with government laws. Every case, judge, and state laws are different. If a person wants to practice Sharia law then move to an islamic country. Its that simple.
You can call it sharia or whatever else you want bit that is not what I'm advocating. The justice of the idea is legit. I'm not asking you to practice a religion just to see injustice in what was done and consider an actual just alternative on the basis of logic alone. The goal of a justice system should be to dispense justice for all involved. I think in capital punishment the only just way is this. Shouldn't reject it simply on account of religion. To argue we shouldn't do it because it is found in the Quran is like saying we shouldn't tell our kids to stay away from drugs because that is also on the Quran.
You cannot say "But this is the US" if we find something wrong whether be in our government laws or any other thing else as human being we try to correct it or improve it. "Move to another country" is not a solution to any problem or else no one will be living in US...lol
I don’t know what book you have been reading but God is definitely the author of the Quran. On the other hand, it doesn’t say anywhere in the Bible that God authored the book, as a matter of fact, the authors happen to be anonymous. I pray Allah, The God guide you to the Truth. Worshipping a man is idol worship and leads to Hell. Jesus Christ pbuh was a prophet of God.
