This is the song my son heard for the first time when he was contemplating unaliving himself. He still cries to this song as he says it saved his life. It will always have a special place in my heart. Love it!

These guys truly are second to none. There is absolutely nobody like them on the planet, and Tyler Joseph, the lead singer, is arguably one of the greatest poets of our generation. I can promise you that their catalog is a rabbit hole more than worth going down! For songs to check out, I would definitely echo that "Ode To Sleep" is incredible, and it's a mini documentary of their career, so you can learn a bit more about them too. I would HIGHLY recommend "Guns For Hands" and "Migraine", as well!
During live performances of this song the singer Joseph climbs the set, even at festivals he goes all the way up before screaming Now I Just Sit In Silence. its the craziest thing and i'm sure insurance companies aren't happy with it haha
hands down, this is still my fav twenty one pilots song. It hits so hard. "sometimes quiet is violent" and "there is no distraction to mask what is real" are two lines that resonate with me a lot. This was the first song I ever heard of theirs probably close to 10 years ago. Very few knew who they were at the time. I loved showing it to people. Every time I hear this song though it just does something to me that is deeply emotional.

Then I discovered this song last year, and I've been obsessed with Twenty One Pilots and Ren ever since. Pretty shameful, seeing as Twenty One Pilots are from Columbus, Ohio as well. TOP has a lot of cryptic lore. Starting in 2017, the drummer Josh, accepted an award at the AMA’s without Tyler. In that acceptance speech Josh stated that “Tyler wished he could have been there, but he was actually off severing ties with DEMA”. Look into TOP lore. There are much deeper band than just their song lyrics. Love the reactions.!!
