I transition defense against punches into defense against knives. I assume that a punch is a knife attack and look at various possibilities. Thanks for sharing 👌👌👍👍👊👊🥊🥊🙏🙏🥋🥋
This is a good tactical concept principle. It seems like the instructor is sliding along the attacker's arm with his counterpunch directly to the target as opposed to exerting pressure tangentile to the incoming attacking arm appendage in an exclusively defensive maneuver without concurrent counteroffense. The demonstration of defense and simultaneous counterattack showed the instructor sliding along the outside of the opponent's incomming punch. Is it prudent to also slide your counterpunch along the inside of the incomming punching arm?
Most videos I've seen on parrying tell people not to over parry your attacker's arm. Instead you just pop the wrist area with your hands. That will prevent you from over parrying.
Thanks a lot Michael, but have a question, as all straikes were all right hand, what if one right and the next left as it is the natural movement alterning both hands...???
Before watching the video, lets hope that the sensei teaches to stop the straight punch by using his lead palm like baseball glove and catch the straight punch fist like its a baseball.
Thank you.
Muito bom Mestre
I did do Martial arts kick 🥊 and I am now doing krav maga martial arts and Calisthenics gym
This is essentially a biu sau from wing chun. Very good body mechanics as long as you turn on your feet at the same time.
Very effective fighting system.

You have to move like in boxing. Dont stand still, nobody will throw one jab and stand, usually strikes come in 3s or 4s jab cross hook swinging etc
coffeeguy really !? wow I didn't know that at all 😉
This is street bro..no rules....even fighter can't bear when someone kick to his groin
@@soloboyz_3v3r90 Agreed! All is permitted. You just have to be able to articulate and justify afterwards. 😎
