What an absolute minter Jon, and a true unicorn in the motoring world. A car so massively ridiculed when new, but now a very interesting and desirable modern collectors car. Pure essence of motoring. I do so hope you relocate it as your collection remains incomplete without a Perodua within it!
Wow it’s been many years since I’ve seen a perodua but what a lovely car I can see why you want it back and I have a couple of mine (golf 7.5 and fiesta) I wish I had kept it’s probably one of the best out there Good luck with the search Jon hope you get reunited again Merry Christmas to all of you and best wishes for the new year thanks for all that you and Pete have done this year Daniel
Kelisa, is one of the 'most wanted' car now here in Malaysia. It will cost you for about RM10k -RM20k . The car in your video now is in a very good condition. Go for it Jon.
Very unexpected car for number one! I'm surprised you didn't mention the similarities between the Perodua Kelisa and the K11 Nissan Micra. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Morning Jon ! No, I didn't expect to see one of these ! I expected to see your Proton Black Knight today !! 😮 Anyway, Merry Christmas to you and your family, Sir ☃️👍
Got one for a courtesy car when my rapids heater needed repair in morpeth. Went back better tyres blown up oil topped up washed... Guy phoned up saying thank you.. Funny little car nippy cheeky loveable...
I bought one new in 2007. Mine was an EXi too. They didn't have wheel trims which is why those look non-standard. It cost me £4600 on the road. I went into the showroom with the attitude that if it didn't feel rubbish I would get one. I ran it for about 4 years before selling. In that time nothing went wrong with it and I covered about 50000 miles. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the buyer was from Williams Bridge Garage in New Milton where I bought mine. They closed quite a while ago now.
Great mini series Jon! However, you really need to have a Perodua Nippa in the collection… I drove one in the summer and there’s much to like with basic no nonsense transport.
Hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas Jon. I love that this made the top. Do you not still have the guy's contact detail from when he mesaged you? The only obvious place i can think of that delights in its Proton heritage is John Childs Garage but it is not in Bournemouth. Think its Kent You could always get in touch with Ian Seabrook, see if he has a dealer list in any of Desmond's documentation that names a Bournemouth dealer and location or indeed phone John Childs as im sure they'll have a dealer list
So plot twist (Amy cme up with this one) - i found the invoice that the chap gave me her when he paid for it AND it has his details on. Im going to call in the new year!
Um ... it's not my cup of tea ,Jon. I'm more in with Mrs JC on that 😁 it's probably in a scap yard somewhere by now 🤞😂.... interesting tho hope you find it 🙏
So as you heard then in the video - my mission for 2025 is to find this Kelisa - any leads or help greatly appreciated!

What a lovely series! And a very worthy first place !
Many thanks for watching
I own this car & love it. Such a light weight car. 989cc vehicle. Originally based on Daihatsu Mira
They are brilliant
Thought it looked similar, someone on my street had a 2002 Daihatsu Mira Gino and I thought it was cute and amazing
@@blobba5442 yup they're exactly the same
i rent this car manual transmission.. the fuel efficient was awesome 👍
Awesome! 😎
What a clean example of such a rare car Jon, the offset registration plate on the front was always a concern but I’ll settle for quirky now!
2025 ... It will return
I hope you find this - it would be great to see you reunited with it. Nice little cars!
I hope so too!

I had never heard of the Perodua brand until Hubnut got his.
I'm leading the way (joking) and then HubNut is making them famous. Perodua ... Smart For two ... He's gonna get a Impian next, you watch 😉
Morning Jon !
No, I didn't expect to see one of these ! I expected to see your Proton Black Knight today !! 😮
Anyway, Merry Christmas to you and your family, Sir ☃️👍
Remember they were cars that have come and gone ;) - else the Black Knight would have been. Wishing you a fantastic day
I've never heard of this car🎉
That's a winner for me
It's actually a Daihatsu Mira in Japan
