i like how he takes the time to explain things like the INLINE-BLOCK and how spacing works around it. people tend to say HTML is easy and there's nothing to it.... but it's actually pretty tricky sometimes.
Been binge watching these vids and they've really helped fill the knowledge gaps from 4 years of working with Wordpress themes and modifying css style sheets. The pace is quick and you may have to re-watch a lot of what Kyle does but the clips are really well trimmed and subject matter well portioned. Spot on great work Kyle!
WAW ! no doubt , you are the best , I understood in few minutes from your teaching style what I was looking for since a month from udemy videos . thanks man !
See I did watch 'till the end....my favorite was how to use class .tour-row to select the last row to remove bottom border. I stayed away from using parent/child selectors but for some reason this helped me to understand this concept a bit better by using .tour-row:last-child. I'd also like to mention I really like how you don't implement or apply some items until afterwards so you can see the progression and as to why you would lay it out in a specific way; very methodical. Thx!
Thanks. There are no further changes to the "Get our Latest Album" button, but you are welcome to modify it in any way you want. This series is merely meant to be a guide that you can use to create your own band web page with.
really appreciate the series good series. The actual text of the CSS unless you go full screen is hard to make out though. Would be huge improvement if you either increased the font size or did a zoom in like some trainings do. Anyway thanks for the series. I am learning alot
Could you explain the default space created by using inline block as you mentioned in this video? Is it default margin or padding? And is there a way to override if desired?
Great tutorial! The only thing that has me bummed out is that I can't do any of this without the help of a tutorial. Like, I understand everything that is being shown to me in a tutorial, but if I was told to create my own site from scratch using only html and css, my brain just shuts down and I'm left staring at a blank screen completely frustrated.
I used to be the same way. My advise would be to start small and try to build a small page. When you get stuck use Google to point you in the right direction and then keep going until you get stuck again. At first you will get stuck a lot but eventually you will be making pages with ease.
@@WebDevSimplified Thank you. One last question, do you know of any sites that have example layouts that I can try to replicate? I don't have Photoshop so it will have to be a case where I just look at the design and try to code it on my own without much guidance.
I do not, but one thing you can do is just find a site and try to create it. You can even view their code by inspecting the page if you get stuck. This is one really good way to learn
Where do you go to find all the different code for the colours? Like for example how did you know a certain combination of numbers and letters will give you dark blue?
This is such a nice tutorial series, I've learned so much! Thank you :) I was wondering, how did you make the play button look like that on the finished version of the page 03:40 (it looks like a border around the greater-than sign with no inner color)?
Hi Kyle I’m new to learning web design and came across you your guides are excellent and I’ve already learnt more than I did on skill share but I’m stuck I have 2 different sites I’m looking to create and kind of stuck just wondering if theres a way of reaching out to you and if you could give me some help and direction thank you I hope to hear back from you
@@WebDevSimplified hi thank you for comming back to me i have sent you an email and really really would appreciate if you could help teach me in anyway
bro in at 10:03 and the button isnt done. can you pls maybe just typre here what would be the solution to get the actual triangle in the middle of the button?
My buttons and text arent aligned as perfectly as yours. I have gone forward and backwards over the html and css in your files and i find no visible difference. What am i doing wrong????????
Can you time tag various different topics that you discuss in all your videos, so that we may refer to those topics by clicking the links in the summary section for their respective time and thereby jumping on that time stamp directly on a given video?👈🤔 It will great for cross referencing various topics that you are discussing in different videos without wasting valuable time!!☺️🤞👍✨
Hey man, if i already know display grid should i use grid instead? been completing CSS & HTML and wanted to do project..also do you have any suggestion what to strengthen my HTML and CSS? Or should i learn javascript first to complete my front end path ?
Thanks for the content, I really appreciate that. My favourite content that I've learned today was the: .tag-name:LAST-CHILD { -------------------------------- }
Yeah, that's really useful. .class-name:nth-child(N) {} is a useful one too (where is N is any int you can use to access a specific child in the group)

you make great tutorial.. i love the way you build an entire project part by part from the most basic to the most complex part.. keep the good work
Thanks. I really appreciate it!

At 18:55 when he said “I’ll do that really quick” HE WASN’T KIDDING WOW
I'm following the "New web Developers Start Here" and just finished this video. I'm kind of amazed with the complexity to make a small, simple site...
thank you for making this content, I took a 12 year hiatus from web design and your content is "exactly what we want" to get back up to speed =)
same here - just 5 years ;)
For me it's 3 years
I had a few complications with my project but I've learnt so much from your videos!!!
I really appreciate your teaching style. Thank you so much. These are great.

CSS is quite difficult to remember, but i dont know how to thank you brother, you are the best
Thank you! I managed to learn so much in such a short time, and it's all thanks to your well-made tutorial.

After I'm wondering why the total width is not equal to 100%, then you answered my question😂You are a perfect teacher
this was so good. I need to freshen up my html and css skills and your course makes it so much easier! thank you!
Damn! You're so awesome, keep up the great work!
Learning On Daily Basis.... Much Thanks
Cheers for this.
Another great tutorial. I'm hoping we make changes to the "Get our latest album" button's alignment at some point.
Thanks for all your hard work.

thank you for this video please continue making videos..
I promise I will keep making videos for a long time.
Great stuff!
thank you for making this video.
love this course - only issue is the background image not wanting to work from inside css but perfectly fine inline in html.
It was great as always thanks a lot

Hi again, great tutorial, as usual. Thanks for your hard work.
You are very welcome!

I can't wait to see it!
Bro i love ur way of teaching can u make a video on tutorial of JavaScript
This is such a nice tutorial series, I've learned so much! Thank you :)
I was wondering, how did you make the play button look like that on the finished version of the page 03:40 (it looks like a border around the greater-than sign with no inner color)?
The finished version at 3:40 is actually just an image of a mockup that I created for the site in Figma so it isn't actually CSS.
Okay, thank you! :)
I loved the video!!😍🥰
I wanted to ack that how to put the play btn besides the latest album button?
Please help!!🙏🏻🙏🏻
favourite css is container
Nice
Thanks

I have a problem. The play button icon doesn't work on mobile browsers😢

I added padding to help with this. A bit late, but I replied in case someone else has this problem.
