It's not the most thrilling ride at Busch Gardens, but the theming is great, and the spinning aspect and elevator lift are really cool. For a family-oriented ride, it's actually very exciting.
Jonathan Bishop its scary for a family ride
Lol when i was tall anough to go on sheikra i was like nope this is amazeing
Does it make your stomach drop
It's great for kids that go there with there parents that don't like going upside down but still want a good roller coaster so I have to agree

People don't understand the difference between big coasters and family coasters (this one)
HydraGaming I agree. Coasters like this and the sand serpent are ment for little kids who are just experiencing their first roller coasters. Which is why they cant go on rides like SheiKra and Kumba. Those rides are ment for the big boys while the smaller rides are meant for small children and their families. To be honest, Cobras Curse looks a whole lot more fun than the sand serpent anyway
+Cloverstorm
At the same time, there are family thrill rides that are designed to cater to the entire family, not just the kids. Generally, family coasters that feature launches such as Firechaser Express and Wavebreaker fall into this category, as well as some of the more intense spinning coasters, mine trains and the like.
I'd put Cobra's Curse on the lower-end side of that "Family Thrill" category.
HydraGaming there's obviously a difference
Cloverstorm cheetah hunt is also not that bad if your starting out
+Ethan Correa
Eh, Cheetah Hunt is a pretty intense ride. It's no gigacoaster, but I would not consider most full-size launched coasters to be "beginner" rides.
I'm just looking at this video like "wow this is what happened?" Because when I got on the ride I had my eyes closed the ENTIRE time 😂
Niya Lane me too this was my first roller coaster
Niya Lane you are a total weirrrrrdooooooooo😂😂😂😂😂
Okay let me restate that...both of yall are boyfriend and girlfriend and to two are both very very coo coo!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😆😆😆

You waited in line to close your eyes
Based on the dialog on the initial at the start of the ride, "I am the serpent, I am the darkness", and how the tunnel leading up to the elevator has writing that mentions a "snake king", I'd say that it's safe to assume that the aforementioned Cobra is none other than Apophis, Egyptian god of darkness and snakes, himself.
VestedUTuber Cool
Interesting
That’s actually a really good theory!
Its actually true cuz thru the rides line it is themed to be an abandoned excavation site and it has whiteboards with notes about their findings and pages from text books with scribbled notes throught the line, with the notes getting more crazy and like the person writing them is falling to the curse.eventually leading to the room before the lift with the writings on the wall and a laptop with more notes with it...all in all its universal studios quality theming and ride execution!
Excellent theory, and I teresting knowledge. Not to rain on anybody's parade or be a jerk, but his actual name in the ride is King Venymyss.

TeamDead Meme it’s a family coaster though
Since it’s a family coaster, no inversions aloud!
This was by far one of my favorite rides, it’s gentle, you don’t panic or get scared going on it, but it’s fun and thrilling at the same time, it’s great for a first “big ride” for kids, it’s a good ride. And, it’s even better at night
When I went on it (as a teenager), it spun so much that I hated it. Ended up crying.
@@aurumisgreatlol it barely spins
The weird thing is, i feel sick even before a rollercoaster ride. Like, just watching this i'm petrified. But i guess it does look kinda fun.
I LikePotatos it’s called butterflies in your stomach. Happens when you get hyped and scared for a coaster and your stomach feels weird. Happens to me, too. But for me they go away on the first drop.
@@voiddcxi2630 did this made your stomach drop
Eric King not really, this is a tame coaster
This one isn’t too scary so you shouldn’t be scared
This is the best ride outside cheetah hunt lol
The originality is stunning. Forward section, backwards section, and spinning. It’s become a classic ride at Busch gardens.
“The darkness awakens my powers” 5 seconds later *PURE SUNLIGHT*
The ride looks like it's meant to be indoor themed..
Yes!
I wanna ride this sooooo bad oh my gosh
Ightslay it is rlly fun but the line is like 40 mins
Its one of my favs even though its a long line sometimes you get to look around they did a nice job
The ride is so fun I went to Busch gardens yesturday and I didn’t go on it because the wait was like 65 or 55 minutes and it’s so long the line curves and stuff it’s so long but it’s really fun
Ightslay why???
Ightslay I live close to Busch Gardens so I go a lot I love this ride it's really fun it's not scary so if you don't like coasters or have someone who hates them this is a great start
I feel bad for the kid crying
*Well, thats human reflex. when you see something like a crying child, cor a cute animal, these were human reflexes back then where we needed sympathy or what some call it "mercy".
*Or, y'now, you can be desensitized, like if you've seen what I've seen, you would be a husk of a being.

Who ever was screaming like crazy is a whole mood right there.
Nice! Best part would be the elevator so cool!
I’m not even a roller coaster person and I really did love this ride. It’s very good for people who don’t like the more faster thrilling roller coaster rides. It’s not even scary it’s really fun you should get on it if you’re thinking about it.👍
Nice weather we had today in Tampa, I wanted to come to Busch Gardens but I couldn't. :(
I love huge thrills and scary rides but I really enjoyed this ride! It’s cool that there’s variety in going forwards backwards and spinning. Super creative style
I think the ride is too short. They could have done more stuff with the location and had it weave in and out of montu
Coasterfan3657 its not to short not too long its normal
Lee Claxton ok...
Coasterfan3657 I think it's cause it has an elevator on it
if they tried to incorporate it into montu, the ride would be shut down for construction. then there goes one of their main attractions for at least a month or two
It's suppose to be for kids and parents
Such a peaceful ride...
Yeah all the spinning, totally won't make you sick.... Not
It doesn’t make you sick.. I’ve ridden it 3 times in one day once,
Meddi N. have you gone on it in real life? It’s not how it looks it’s how it feels, I love it
I went on it at night it was so flipping scary
@@ryanh4319 same
How does the spinning work? With a programm or just gravity.
Tim Kuppen This one is gravity based upon weight.
Triangular Building Not completely. Notice how it spins without any force working on it, both in the station and when it spins backwards.
Jake Cobovic There are parts in the train that can spin the cars or allow them to spin freely.
I think there are sections where it spins freely and the rest of the time its controlled.
It's both it's basically they turn it and then spins all the way so they won't turn it too fast if it turned themselves and spin off cause of the weight
1:45 girl sarts crying
Cobra: i didnt even mean to scare you
This little girl was me when I rode the Tony Hawk Big Spin... the kid exterior really distracts from from the fact this is a spinning wild mouse rollercoaster with banking helixes... I feel for her, man. According to my father I was white as snow.
J R so you were Snow White
Great 4K POV!
This is my favorite roller coaster! The line is cool, the elevator at the beginning, the giant snake speaking, the huge drop, going backwards, then spinning freely, it's just an amazing ride!
[0G] Goat_Hooves so so so true!!!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤗🤗
I had a fast pass so I couldn’t really enjoy the line.
+there was like 10 min until close to I wanted to ride it 3 times so I sprinted through the line. But what I saw of it was amazing. The TVs and everything was amazing!
Ugh I waited for this ride for 2 hours when the wait time said 30 minutes...I was stuck in the part of the line where it showed the video of the snake king and it was so annoying
henry welsh at least you were inside tho
Lol
henry welsh same!
henry welsh I was once stuck waiting for about 2-3 hours because it was raining/lightning but no one knew what was going on. It sucks because we were stuck waiting right after that part, near there instructional video thing 😂 I memorized the script, after watching it like 50 times
I was in there for a while today is was hot so the cold hair was nice but it was to dark🤪
OMG the seats spinning around during the ride....I'll be puking everywhere lol.
Alright, so I'm on vacation in Tampa Bay and my parents, brother and I went to Busch Gardens. I only got to go on Sand Serpent, Congo River Rapids, Log Flume, and Cobra's Curse in 7 hours on a Tuesday! Like wthhhhhhh. The wait was really cool, but the wait to go onto Cobra's Curse was almost an hour. Anyways, when I was there yesterday I went on Cobra's Curse and freaked out so much. When the ride started, I was sitting with my brother in the front seat of the second cart and the ride started moving, I was saying, "I don't want to go on here anymore, I want to sit with dad now!" When I went forwards, I felt I was about to puke. When I went backwards, I closed my eyes then the second time I went backwards, I squinted and freaked out in my mind. After when we got to the gift shop my dad got me a giraffe plushie with a sweatshirt that said "Busch Gardens" on it. I was so relieved that it was over lol.
Ruler of Pineapples You must be bad on roller coasters, when I went on for the first time when I was five I said this after the ride “ I hate that ride can I please go on cheetah hunt now!” It was a disappointment
I was at Busch gardens I saw this ride then saw it spinning and all...thought to myself uhh no way..but rode all the roller coasters there
One time when me and my siblings went in line, it was empty, so we ran through the line acting like zombies and moaning. Then, some people who came in behind us caught on and starred screaming out random curse words. It was hilarious XD Of course, we quieted down as we came to the end of the line though
The mummy:I’m the most scary ride
Cobras curse:it’s my turn
It’s nice that Busch Gardens has a coaster that doesn’t go upside down, nice
Almost every park does, I can’t name one that doesn’t.
Damn...
that’s sad how her mom was laughing at her child she could of asked if she was ok atleast
I went on cobras curse and it really isn’t scary. Nobody was screaming or anything. We all had straight faces lmao
I absolutely love the excellent theming throughout the layout.
Did it 4 times today with my friend one of the best rides ever
I laughed so hard on this ride I peed my pants
Woah there buddy
Djk34💘💝🥰 are you single how old you are
Lol that kid was crying
Not trying to be mean tho
I went on this a little more than a week ago when I went to Busch Gardens with my friends and I have an intense fear of heights it was so scary but fun if your debating whether or not to go on it I definitely recommend this was my first big roller coaster and I literally had anxiety in the line but it was worth it because when your finished you feel accomplished and realize it wasn’t so bad.
busch gardens tampa has the best themed rides.
The exit audio sounds like Sir Patrick Stewart lol
This was definitely one of my favorite rides at busch gardens!
That ride doesn't seem like it's worth the hype... But I guess for a family coaster it's pretty good.
It's supposed to be a tamer ride to give a good option between the smaller coasters and something like Cheetah Hunt. While I'd still prefer Montu next door, this is still a pretty solid little ride.
A couple days ago I was on cobras curse and it got delayed after my ride. You know why? Because I got stuck at the part we're you were about to spin around. I hated it but loved it at the same time!😇🤢
This ride is amazing! It’s so underrated
There is a little girl on this thing😂 brave unlike me😂
90% of comments kid screaming
9% the actual ride

People don't seem to get that this coaster is a *family* ride. It's not meant to be a big thrill ride, nor does it make any pretense of being one; on the contrary, it's advertised as a family coaster. It's well-themed and unique, and easily on par with, if not superior to, the roller coasters at Disney, which is very clearly the type of ride they were trying to emulate.
The lifting starts at 0:45
Your welcome
If it helped

This was my second favorite at Busch! I’m not a big thrill seeker, so this and the log flume was perfect! But when I’m in the mood the Sheikra was just 😍
I was going in the cheetah hunt and cobra’s curse
I almost passed out in the spinning parts I am new to rollercoasters so it figures
Almost went on this ride yesterday but the group right before us got stuck on top of the ride
There isn't a escape for the cobras curse.
4 minutes later: please exit to your left and have a great day thank you.
Random kid : i thought we couldn't escape.
Me: AND I OOP
What a cool coaster. Love the idea of rotating cars.
on my 7th grade field trip hear we got stuck for 5min at 1:56 and they staff either didn't know what happened or wouldn't tell us
the nitro matt Probably a case of a sensor tripping wrongly, putting the ride in lockdown. Nothing to worry about, happens all the time, but there isn't really a good way to communicate that to people without frightening them.
Basically, the ride says, "Something might be wrong. I'm gonna stop everything so we can figure out what it is."
Alex Snitzer OK, try telling that yp my idiotic friend who thought we were gonna die, lol
the nitro matt That's why the ride-ops were so unhelpful!
Yup
the nitro matt im in 7th grafe and i got stuck in the same spot
i really like the theming but the layout is a kind of boring
W Lucas Yeah i agree
The layout could definitely be better and have cool elements. A non-inverting loop would be awesome with the spinning coaster!
Sir I must arrest you for not understanding that this is a family coaster and that any type of inversion, even if it’s a non inverting loop which doesn’t count as an inversion, belong on thrill coasters.
It’s a family roller coaster ....
It is boring, but anything like loops or tall/fast drops would make this family coaster into a thrill coaster
That's like making sand sercent taller, want to hear children cry?
OMG I want to ride that tomorrow
2:00 you could say there was a twist 😂😂 I'm sorry
im in 5th grade and im going to bush gradens at the end of the year and im going to try to go on to the cobra ride with my friends wish me luck

You in gene witt?
We're pass holders and this is my 4-year-old's favorite!
Looks like a great ride but way too short unless the video was edited. Love the way the gondolas pivot.
The video is not edited. We always show the entire ride from leaving the station to the return into the station, so anyone watching our videos get to see the full ride experience.

so much hype yet so much dissapointment
I went on THIS
Shiekra and falcons fury are rides to cry on
It's scary ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I like how the lift section is literally a lift, probably because of limited space. A neat little piece of engineering.
I wanna go on this so bad
Got on and off this ride like 4 times in a row last August
can't wait to ride this, heading down in January, so excited!
I road this ride today and if you where their and heard my screaming, your ears would rip off, i was screaming like a horror death XD
i loved that ride so much but they should put a really TALL drop
Some of us don't like really tall rides. Parks don't need to cater to only the adrenaline junkies
Theres already a tall drop ride at busch gardens. I forget the name but its super steep
Anaira Alvarez this is a children's ride
Astral Cosmos Celestial the Third it’s called Sheikra.
Anaira Alvarez this coaster is a family coaster. They would never put enormous drops on family coasters.
The ride camera is st 1:25. 🤓🤓
Such a dumb coaster. Did not live up to the hype. The best part was the elevator lift. #yawn
John Warner, it is a family coaster, lighten up a bit
Seriously. Cobras Curse fills a niche, and it's especially fun since random physics means that that second half of the ride is always different. Plus it has the best queue in the park.
TheInflicted it also has terrible capacity and only the last 1/3 of the ride is in free-spin and BARELY moves. As evidenced in this video, it was the same ride I had. Spinning coasters can be a lot of fun. This one is not.
John Warner well they could not want people to vomit everywhere maybe?
It's fun to most people.
Florida. Exe
Me watching the video: well this doesn't seem to bad
The next day: me just looking at the first drop, you know what I will just stick with the grover coaster
Whoever's child that was hyperventilating, that would be me.
One of the best family coasters out there. It smashes a Wild Mouse.
When I went to BGT with my parents, this was the only ride my mom could handle. I remember she was super scared, especially of the elevator, and I had to hug her the whole ride. She loved it though and we went another 3 times.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6❤️
I went on this and honestly the scariest part is when you are half hanging onto the tracks and spinning, did I mention you are also going backwards? Also the line was really long :/ it was like 100 min or something but it was really fun and was worth it.
was finally on it twice saturday the spin wasn't good the first round but the second round we had a good spin i had a blast on it its awesome at night because the fangs and eyes glow
This isn’t 4K you clickbaiter
You can't even hear like 75%of what the cobras saying irl

I know this has nothing to do with this but I’m really happy because I get to leave my family that neglects me and live with my mom in Vegas
I went to a waterslide rollercoaster water ride thingy and there is no saftey and it was scary

I prefer this ride at night idk why but every time I go to this ride is at night cause like is one of the last rides we go to and finish the park 🤷♀️😂
