If Maye can play on Sunday, he should play. Mayo wants to keep Brissett out there for as long as he can for an excuse. We all love those 7-yard incomplete passes.
I had heard in another video that Jacoby also mentioned something to staff about Drake not looking right. Drake did get up a little slow but the plays after did look just fine. Im calling this Concussion Gate.
Yeah, he definitely didn’t look right getting up after the play. But hard to tell sometimes if it’s because of a head injury or just being generally rattled after taking a hit. That was Jacoby after each hit the first 5 weeks, but not concussion related.
It really sounds like you're complaining that they exercised caution with Drake. You should be complaining that Allen was put back in, not that Maye was not put back in.
It’s more the lack of consistency across the league + the fact Maye stayed in even through the end of quarter break. And had Boutte caught that pass and the Pats drove down the field, I really question whether the league would’ve made the decision to pull him.
Not that crazy. Like he said, Josh Allen was knocked out and stayed in but was sniffing smelling salts on the sideline. AFC championship game last year Mahomes got a chunk of his helmet broken off and didn’t miss a play. They don’t want the stars out
The officiating highly favored the Jets. I never like to point fingers at the refs but once they knew they couldn't cover that 7.5 point spread it became Jets friendly game by the zebras

Nah the vibes I’m getting from Mayo (for what that’s worth) is he wants Drake out there, but acknowledges he knows little about concussion stuff.
@
Yeah, right. Mayo has an agenda and Drake Maye is not part of it. This time next year? New coach. Take that to the bank.
For "Step 1" on the protocol, it should be "calling friends and family to apologize for not getting out of the way".
😂

This is a crazy theory but what if NFL wanted their boy Rodgers to win so bad they stepped in and took Maye out only to still lose to Brissett lmao

You're right, that is crazy.
@@ddavidone6538 yea I just don’t want to sound like a lunatic so I used that to lighten my lunacy 😂😂
From the angle I watched it I thought he caught a knee to the helmet then they showed another angle clear helmet to helmet
He was literally squinting and dazed while he stood up.... He was not fine
Agree it didn’t look great. Then they waited until the end of the series to pull him. Made no sense. But his play looked fine after he got dinged.
He's always squinting lol
Are you sure the boute play was after. I thought it was before
Yes, it was after. Boutte slant up the middle. High contact play, but catchable.
Rather he was fine or good to play or not we’d rather be safe than sorry pulling him was the right move
