    Pats fans want jayden daniels type play, now. Impatient. He's got less experience than any of the other rookie QBs. He'll get better. I think next year will be his breakout year. Better O-line and recievers will elevate him.

      Jayden Daniels also has one of the best OCs in the league, their o line is playing way better than expected & he has better weapons, although they’re still not incredible in Washington. Drake is making lemonade out of year old expired lemons.

      no most of us know the talentless team we have & just want Maye to grow game by game, this is like an extended training camp/ preseason.

    Some of the all time greats had similar growth in the beginning. Patience is important. I believe he has the it factor. It's just about him and his desires going forward. A ton to be excited and encouraged about. I remember Grogan. He had very little to work with as well

    The kid is shining behind a disastrous situation in NE. The coaching is horrible the talent is lacking and the owner is cheap and meddling in football operations. Hopefully Kraft has enough brains left to realize he caught lightning in a bottle twice now when they got lucky and Maye fell to them. Give Maye a real team with a real coaching staff and a committed owner and the kid will be a top 5 QB.

  • @Jay-hj5tl

    He kinda in someway reminds me of Grogan..he isn't as fast. But he is leaving all on the field..and here in NE that's how we do it. So it's nice to see that reflected in our team. That 1 wr did ok also yesterday. Yea he should went for the 2

    • @4orrcountry
      @4orrcountry День тому +1

      Ask Grogan if Maye reminds him of himself. He would laugh in your face. I liked and admired Grogan plenty but Drake is already a better passer than Steve, who was often erratic, threw too many INTs. If Maye has half of Grogan's guts and leadership, we're in for a treat.

    Drake threw a ball 55 yards in the air on a jump pass yesterday, Mac Jones could never. I don't think there are 5 QBs in the league who can make throws like that

  • @sportsavant2937

    My only advice for Drake Maye is to work on his throwing mechanics, his footwork in the pocket, and all the fundamentals of the QB's position. Try to minimize trying to throw off his backfoot or on the run. Only do that when he absolutely has to. And to watch film. If he is willing to do all those things and spend as much time as he has on them for a couple years, he will dominate. Other QBs today only focus on the razzle and dazzle and they have no fundamentals. So if Maye is fundamentally solid, he will be better than 90 percent of the QBs today.

    Please stop saying Drake Needs to run Less. We have an athletic QB. Why is the firdt thing we ask them to do is to hey now chill in the pocket. Thats how Josh allen and Lamar Jackson are ripping apart defenses. They use their Athletic ability

      Running QBs get hurt much more often than the rest, which is why Boomer said Maye needs to run less as the team improves. Do you know more than Esiason?

      @@ne0n1nja247 Josh & Lamar both got a lot better when they learned to sit in the pocket longer & make reads.
      Not saying I want Drake to stop playing his game, but just play it smarter & more refined. You need to be able to sit in the pocket & make reads/throws under pressure to be truly great. It’s a requirement. There will forever be high pressure situations when you have to throw & everyone knows it. You need to have that experience/trait to pull out the big ones.
