Plus he’s from Asgard and they carry special bonds with people they’ve been in battle with, and he knew under all circumstances she would’ve had his back even if she was utterly outmatched which was even the case in New York
Thor was always kinda super proud of being part of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes, he brags about it at many occasions. One of those OG mightiest was NAT.
That part actually makes me wonder Where Melina and Red Guardian where. It feels like they to where snap victims as they should have joined Natasha after the snap. The scene also makes me wonder their reactions to hearing about Natasha’s death.

The only thing that aggravates me about Natasha's death is that while the Avengers made her sacrifice worth it, they never really gave her a funeral where all of the people she knew mourned her (Okoye, Wanda, Scott, Sam or Bucky) and while I know Tony's sacrifice and death was more heartbreaking and unexpected as hell, they could have still mourned all fallen avengers the same way they mourned Tony.
Tony body still there to get a funeral though. Sure, there is sometimes tomb but without a body because the body still cant be retrieved and maybe they still held a foolish hope of Natasha is still alive since Cap return all the stone, including the Soul Stone.

I also think Natasha and Tony's deaths were a huge factor in Steve's decision to return to the past to live his life with Peggy. He couldn't live in a universe where Natasha and Tony weren't in it.

Absolutely. Yes! Renner so is great. Great in Arrival, Bourne Legacy, Wind River, Major of Kingstown, Hurt Locker, The Town and Tag. Very multi talented. He can sing. A total missed opportunity to see him and Hailee Steinfeld sing in an episode of Hawkeye. The man needs to do a musical for sure. And the past 15 years THEY could not make a movie or show mainly focusing on Clint Barton (and mostly him). They pretend as if the Marvel Comic fans don't want to see *Hawkeye/Ronin vs Kingpin or Bullseye* and more. You all remember the tracking shot Japan fight scene in Endgame, you know you would so want more of that, a rated R Hawkeye and Ronin movie can totally be something greatly special different from the rest of the MCU (And they care to make a mature show for Echo of all characters.) So much more stories needs to be told during that *blip* in the Hawkeye character.

I think this was the most heartbreaking scene for me. Just watching the guys mourn and process that their girl is truly gone- Thor and Tony lost their sister, Bruce lost his rock, Steve lost his love and Clint lost his platonic soulmate/partner/best friend. Natasha was the soul of the group

I understand Clint anger, because he think Natasha death is his fault. But, iff Clint the one who dies, his family is the one who will be affected after the Blip. Imagine your spouse and children come back from the Snap and find out his husband/father dies just for a small stone.
I can feel Thor's feeling here. He lost to Thanos and failed to stop him from snapping what's left of his race and some of his teammates to dust. There's a debilitating feeling when clinically depressed. Everywhere you go, no matter how hard you try, there is an insurmountable feeling of loss and every corner you go, you fail and it's hard to snap out of it.
i also like that it implies Thor and Nat also had a close relationship. in the movies they really don't have that many scenes together. but you can just tell from his reaction they were as close as all the other Avengers

What got me wasn't the initial sound, it was Jeremy Renner's expression. I've never seen such utter disdain towards oneself for their actions before. The death isn't just hitting him; it is the realisation that someone cared about him, even as Ronin. You didn't see that with any other Avenger than Nat. Even Rhodey was hesitant about him before the Time Heist. Renner was the MVP of this scene.
I think Steve realised that Clint wouldn’t have returned without Nat if he had a choice as he knew how close Clint and Nat were . He knew that if there was anyway Clint could have saved Nat he would have.
Partially, maybe it has something to do with him being a soldier and him being revived after almost a century I think( or a century ) him already grieving that lost also maybe the reason with him being able to handle loses, plus being a soldier, surely a lot of friends he knew died on the line
Steve was grieving, maybe not really paying attention to Hawkeye. But if he was, space is also very big with tons of different life forms. There’s no way he’d make the connection that this floating red guy is the red guy he watched “burn” 80 years earlier. If Nat survived, she’d know who he was. Which honestly she should’ve known.
The focus on Bruce’s reaction to her death, the choice to give him the line “where’s Nat?“ and the reveal that he tried to also bring her back in the Blip all seem to indicate that he was still in love with her.
I feel bad for Bruce, because in age of Ultron he said he can't have kids and Nat said she can't either.but after a talk with big green Bruce finally got a chance to know what fatherhood feels like and he was obviously the most heartbroken because his one chance to leave a next generation was torn away from him but on the bright side he can step up and be to letter what Tony was.
Its the fact that even as superheroes who've lost so much, it didn't even occur to them that everyone wouldn't make it back. Wasn't a thought in their mind. Thats what make this even more heartbreaking, its the paradox of winning, but at what personal cost?
I recently realized something watching this scene - Tony asks, "Do we know if she had family?" Steve says, "Yeah, us." And Clint, WHO KNOWS about Yelena says absolutely nothing.
Even in her death he kept her word. That's a true friend. She never gave consent for him to share. No matter she's dead she didn't want anyone to know. So no one got to know.

After Infinity War, he got crazy and became a literal serial killer (no hate, I love him)

Another kick in Thor's depression: Natasha died because he feel the need to gloat and didn't kill Thanos form the start.
Imagine how much it would've broken Clints heart, just when his family come back, to tell them that they'll never see Auntie Nat ever again.

Omg, I was on the verge of crying, until Bruce threw the bench and I read the second comment at the same time, I was laughing but I was crying.
The 5 OG Avengers showing the 5 stages of grief
1. Thor(Denial) - thinking they could bring her back using the Infinity Stones
2. Hulk (Anger) - when he threw the bench through the river
3. Hawkeye(Bargaining) - when he said "it should have been him" to be sacrificed for the stone
4. Cap(Depression) - he is just quiet the whole time crying his eyes out, trying to process what happened to Nat
5. Tony(Acceptance)- looking forward to the fact that Natasha's sacrifice won't be in vain
Asgardians aren't really used to death because they live so long and the fact that he's showing his bratty Prince side makes it even more real.
i am still imagining a scene where natasha also arrived for the assemble moment or even whistling back to yelena at the end of black widow
i literally feel for all of them so much, nat has been there since the very beginning and it will never be the same without her

What got me wasn't the initial sound, it was Jeremy Renner's expression. I've never seen such utter disdain towards oneself for their actions before. The death isn't just hitting him; it is the realisation that someone cared about him, even as Ronin. You didn't see that with any other Avenger than Nat. Even Rhodey was hesitant about him before the Time Heist. Renner was the MVP of this scene.
I like how Bruce literally yeeted the bench.
“She’s not coming back!” … neither is that bench fam. That thing clear the tree line and was heading upwards 🤣🤣🤣

Its sad how Steve accepted her fate in a moment even though they were so close, like he knew some of them will have to pay a price.
I think Steve realised that Clint wouldn’t have returned without Nat if he had a choice as he knew how close Clint and Nat were . He knew that if there was anyway Clint could have saved Nat he would have.
Partially, maybe it has something to do with him being a soldier and him being revived after almost a century I think( or a century ) him already grieving that lost also maybe the reason with him being able to handle loses, plus being a soldier, surely a lot of friends he knew died on the line

Steve was grieving, maybe not really paying attention to Hawkeye. But if he was, space is also very big with tons of different life forms. There’s no way he’d make the connection that this floating red guy is the red guy he watched “burn” 80 years earlier. If Nat survived, she’d know who he was. Which honestly she should’ve known.

I feel bad for Bruce, because in age of Ultron he said he can't have kids and Nat said she can't either.but after a talk with big green Bruce finally got a chance to know what fatherhood feels like and he was obviously the most heartbroken because his one chance to leave a next generation was torn away from him but on the bright side he can step up and be to letter what Tony was.

Yelena: Am i a joke to you?
She got dusted. In fact, Yelena perishing may have been motivating Nat to do the heist (and also sacrifice herself) in the first place.

I recently realized something watching this scene -

And Clint, WHO KNOWS about Yelena says absolutely nothing.
Even in her death he kept her word. That's a true friend. She never gave consent for him to share. No matter she's dead she didn't want anyone to know. So no one got to know.
