The fight choreography is really well thought out. 2012 Cap fights like a bare-knuckle brawler with really up-front straights and hooks. But 2023 Cap has more technical, defensive MMA-style grappling moves along with really precise blocks. It shows how much he's changed over the years.
I love it when people who understand fighting explain stuff like this . It gives me more appreciation for the work the stunt guys/writers/actors /choreographers put into these movie fights.
is that what you saw? I see cap 2012 absolutely dominate, and I'm kinda mad that 2023 cap made a couple of the choices he did, like when cap 2012 gets his rear naked choke, he's doing everything correctly, but 2023 cap rolls the wrong way and tries to turn away from the choke, you can even see that he's pulling down on the choking arm while the other arm is keeping it in place, like isn't he meant to be a black belt in BJJ? his throws are pretty impressive but he never seems to keep top position for very long, striking wise it's not rlly my place, I'm an MMA guy and this is movie karate type stuff designed to look cool, so I'm not gonna nitpick it too much but come on 2023 cap, TURN INTO THE CHOKE that aside it is nice to see jiu jitsu used in a marvel movie edit: I can see now that he was trying to get the staff, but I would think that captain America would be confident enough beating himself from 11 years ago to defend properly, take him out safely and then get the staff

@@lukethegoldenminecart1297If you think deep then you will get the answer. This fight takes place after all the alien invasion and Loki stuff is over. If you check the first Avengers film at the end of that film you will see that when Thor takes Loki to Asgard with tesseract in that scene Cap was standing there in normal clothes. Actually as soon as Loki got captured and everything got under control all Avengers started to suit down and go back to their normal looks(except characters like Thor and Loki as they are gods). In Endgame when Loki escapes with the tesseract in that scene you can see 2012's Tony wearing normal clothes so you can expect that Natasha, Steve they all suited down and went back to their normal clothes by this time. And after Loki escaped, chaos spread. And they definitely all suited up again to desperately search Loki and that's when 2012's Cap put a new suit on not the New York battle damaged one.
@@towkirshuvo97not necessarily cause in the schwarma scene he was in battle damaged clothes and that was way after they got loki and all that.. soo how does that figure in to everything?
If you really just think about it, look at how close this fight was with a 7-year separation. If Tony were to fight his past self, it would be a clear victory by far.
Well, mk 7 is nowhere near as capable as mk 85 after all. Future Tony knows what to wreck with the mk 7 suit, while 2012 Tony wouldn't even know where to start.
It was a 11 year separation btw. The old cap doesn't want to hurt and injure his past self. Tony would also do the same thing in this kind of situations
Fun Fact: Originally 2012 Cap was gonna be mask less and have his scar from the battle of New York to tell them apart, but someone thought that would have been too confusing, so they changed it to his mask on instead. The problem was they had already shot the fight, and if they were to reshoot it, they'd have to do it twice. So they digitally put a CG mask onto 2012 Cap. Meaning throughout this entire fight you're looking at a CG Captain America mask.
Ahhh. So they didn't forget about it. One main thing I keep bitching in this scene is literally this. There was NO WAY Cap would be already healed, and get entirely brand new suit and helmet that quick just after the new york fight and this fight...the continuity was off. Years later, I'm glad to find out that the writer didn't actually fuck up initially.
Final fight was terible. Really dark to hide cgi, there is a part where thanos slams cap and if you pause it you can see no texture on the cgi cap, when they rush in to fight wands lokks wanki and flies away all weird after throwing a random beam
This 2012 timeline in truly fucked 😂😂Loki missing,Hulk knocked out Ironman ,Ironman has a heartattack, space stone missing, and s captain America who met his match that seemingly disappeared into thin air
The biggest fuck up is Captain America getting mind controlled by that Scepter? How did I know he was mind controlled? Because that’s what it does. Like I said before, all the timelines they visited will not go unnoticed, at all...
@@djkaiser1585 that’s what Loki’s show is about. He’s probably Time-policing all the mess ups from EndGame. It would be cool to see how the Universe 2 ends up different than the main universe.
My understanding was that when Captain returned the infinity stones to the past, that erased the alternate timelines, so it doesn't really matter what state they left the timelines in. Of course, who knows how the Loki series is going to play into that.
I love how they concluded this scene to 2012 Cap laying on the ground, the Hydra in this universe will think that the Mind Stone has been stolen from cap after he took it from the dudes in the elevator.
Nah because the whole point of Cap travelling in time to return the stones at the end was to put them back in the hands of whoever they took it from just after they took it. So like he would have come back to this point in time and returned the stone to the 2012 cap/Hydra without them knowing he took it. The weirdest thing is how did he put the stone back in the sceptre and return it to them to continue their time line with it 🤷
@@MasterNick7412 if you watched the movie you know the past in the MCU can't be changed so he can't undo the fact that he fought himself he would be a third cap in 2012 i guess he just put the stone somewhere near the Hydra team so they found it as new mysterious object and take it to strucker and it would just replace the scepter in AOU where it was originally broken to create vision same with the other stones all interactions happened by time travel cann't be undone

Basically a completely different set of events and a different alternative reality. Doesn’t sound like the plan that Banner and the Supreme one discussed to return the stones to their exact point of time they were taken from and prevent the new alternative reality split that the supreme one was worried about...

Loki isn't even trying and he still beats cap in Avengers 1. Loki was turned into a joke in later movies but he is still stronger than people on Cap's Level (even without magic)
I find it unreal that future Captain America didn’t beat past Captain America easily since his combat skill has improved drastically during the Civil War and Infinity War.
The 2023 captain was avoiding the clash as he knows it's his former past thus not to hurt his past self Where as the 2012 captain think that it is loki so he sees him as a threat And also loki beat captain before So for him it's like a rematch
I remember this being one of the golden scenes we never expected. All of a sudden Cap vs Cap, what was going to happen?! This was when marvel was at its peak...
Nah. It was literally Chris face. They shot this scene twice or more, where in one take Chris was Steve without the mask, and the masked one was a stunt double and vice versa.
@Xiter 2022 No I know it was Chris's face, it was the fact that it was stitched onto the body double so poorly in CGI. You can see it even easier when masked Chris has the real chris in a headlock, and through the arms in the headlock you can see where they had difficulty digitally attaching his face and so on.

@@MelianLimGachaVideos The damage and cameras don't matter; they'll just think it was Loki in disguise. @@jd1800 Just to remind you that time travel rules doesn’t matter. Cap 2023 told Cap 2012 about Bucky, but it won’t change the present.
It gives me more appreciation for the work the stunt guys/writers/actors /choreographers put into these movie fights.
when you look at the way cap fought in 2012 vs in 2014 and 2016 in his later movies this makes even more sense
is that what you saw? I see cap 2012 absolutely dominate, and I'm kinda mad that 2023 cap made a couple of the choices he did, like when cap 2012 gets his rear naked choke, he's doing everything correctly, but 2023 cap rolls the wrong way and tries to turn away from the choke, you can even see that he's pulling down on the choking arm while the other arm is keeping it in place, like isn't he meant to be a black belt in BJJ? his throws are pretty impressive but he never seems to keep top position for very long, striking wise it's not rlly my place, I'm an MMA guy and this is movie karate type stuff designed to look cool, so I'm not gonna nitpick it too much but come on 2023 cap, TURN INTO THE CHOKE that aside it is nice to see jiu jitsu used in a marvel movie
edit: I can see now that he was trying to get the staff, but I would think that captain America would be confident enough beating himself from 11 years ago to defend properly, take him out safely and then get the staff

@@Lara-mo5oy well the super solider serum gives him a healing factor, in the final battle he's able to sprint into battle with others after just being stabbed in the leg by Thanos, and at the end of Winter Solider he spends like a few days in the hospital after he was shot 3 times, and his stamina is next level so Cap being able to throw hands after he had just been through hell isn't that surprising, but I do agree with you on the suit that is a plot hole

Advance tech
Because tony learns from his mistakes
Well, mk 7 is nowhere near as capable as mk 85 after all. Future Tony knows what to wreck with the mk 7 suit, while 2012 Tony wouldn't even know where to start.
It was a 11 year separation btw. The old cap doesn't want to hurt and injure his past self. Tony would also do the same thing in this kind of situations
Your point?
Fun Fact: Originally 2012 Cap was gonna be mask less and have his scar from the battle of New York to tell them apart, but someone thought that would have been too confusing, so they changed it to his mask on instead. The problem was they had already shot the fight, and if they were to reshoot it, they'd have to do it twice. So they digitally put a CG mask onto 2012 Cap. Meaning throughout this entire fight you're looking at a CG Captain America mask.
I knew there was something odd about it. Now I know why.
Man the figth would be more epic.
I always hate that the 2012 cap don't have the scar and broken uniform.
That would make sense because whenever cap is in safer grounds, he doesn't wear a mask
