People got sweaty because 99.99% of the player base doesn't play this game anymore and the people that do only play this game practically and they know everything
Just came back to this game after launch. I am a level 15. Picked colony. And as the game was loading I looked up your beginner guide to colony. Used a Goliath rush and made 2 level 99s and a level 83 leave the game at the 6 min mark. Felt great to win but I remember a time of long drawn out battles and people not rage quitting after one bad fight. It’s a shame because I really loved HW1 and I hope to get back into the HW2 community.
still people playing halo wars 1 definity edistion tho if you use xbox, steam, microsoft store, they have seperet servers.... and you kind off eather have to make a lobby or look for one someone made

Losing to cringe air is certainly cringe.
HW2 is sweaty because;
1. A majority of the players almost exclusively play this game
2. A lot of players are so toxic that I can’t imagine any new players would ever want to continue playing it
It’s a disappointment because I really enjoy this game but the toxicity and the sweat made me delete it completely. I appreciate y’all keeping the content coming because I love watching people play this.
I’ve had the game years but never played it and started playing it recently with friends and learning it, brought my mate along and the third multiplayer game her ever played we had someone message us saying quit and just camped out base after we lost the early game
I report and block the toxic people.

I played three matches this morning in 3v3 and my team was wiped before the 10-minute mark every time by coordinated rush attacks. It was incredibly not fun. This game is nothing but rush spam. You’ll be dead by the 5-minute mark, counter-units notwithstanding.
What’s crazy is I play this game religiously and you guys almost never play mega sweat champs I play against, if you counter-rush you’ll win most of your matches
I think since the pop in Ranked 3v3 is low these days. The sweaty ass characters are playing Team War

This is why I just do firefight and skirmish
I am one of those guys who will just somehow end the game within 6-10 minutes with the enemy defeated. But at the same time I try to cheese strats or turtle and it doesn’t work bc they always quit.
