    These are the exact same ones that are offered with the Jawa Perak (different rim size)...and I've ridden that bike at 130+ in long sweeping curves etc... This is indeed a very good tyre and I'm pleasantly surprised that it costs just 3k - amazing vfm.
    Nice video man 👍

      Yes! They do grip well.. especially considering the price..which makes me wonder why did RE decide to go with Pirellis in the first place when we can develop similar performing tyres here locally.

      CEAT is unknown and much heavier crap. So, have no illusions on them. It's impossible to make a good tyre with close to no experience on tires development. How can you even compare CEAT to Pirelli LOL. It is the same as comparing Tata to Ferrari :D Do not overthink it. RE just serves this crap to cut on their own costs. And what is more funny. They sell bikes with those shitty tyre-like-products with a higher price and lough on loosers which are buying them 😅 I've negotiate my local RE dealer to throw that shit out and replace with Metzeler Lasertec.

      Sure, actually i have managed to put in about 5000 odd kilometres with these tyres, and the rear one already worn out, like completely. It does have good grips, but it wears fast as well. Cornering confidence felt greatly improved compared to sport demon that i was using before this. Wet grip too is ok. Though i really didn't take my biie out in the rain as much as i hoped i could. But performance was good. And no punctures or anything like that happened with this tyre so far. Now when i went to the shop to get a new one they were quoting 3200 and that too without the tube. Still i felt its pretty VFM., Will be getting a new one for the rear soon.✌️

      The INT and GT rims are tubeless configuration. However the spoke nipple holes present a problem. But a TL tire on a TL rim possibly makes for a safer set up - the tire is more likely to stay in place on the rim in the event of a puncture.

      I have pushed it past 170 , and the bike climbs just as well as it did with Pirellis. No change in top speed or acceleration. Im afraid i wont be able to make a video on it though..

      @@reaper8887 Dude believe it or not I had to raise a escalation to RE to get this Tyres man... and honestly my Pirelli can do another 3k kms as 650 is not my daily commuter, I take it out mostly on weekend rides 95% Tarmac, I just stocked CEAT as a safety measures. Its sad that things have come down to this that we have to start stockpiling tyres man lol... Its just a odd radius, There are 17 inchers and there are 19 inchers... since this is 18... you only have tyres which are shit expensive.. or hard to get...And its been going on since past 6-7 months dude... Lucky you got the tyre first thing this year...! The tyre is in so much demand that hadn't I raised a escalation even though the CEAT outlet had these tyres they would not have sold it

      @@officalJalgara you said it bro, i get the old-school charm of the 18 inch rims and whatnot.., But atleast for these 650s they should have opted for 17 inch wheels, i feel they have taken this 'retro thing' a bit too seriously with these bikes.. Imagine all the options we couldve gotten, if these were 17 inchers.
      Sigh !.
      That being said, im glad CEAT has decided to finally launch one product thats on par with the overpriced pirellis., I'm sure they will ramp up the production and make it available with all their dealers soon.. fingers crossed.🤞

      Rear tyre ceat zoom cruz F - 130 70 R18 - 4500
      Front tyre ceat zoom cruz - 100 90 R18 - 3800

      @@nikhil_adventourer Since they do not have any international competition now... trust me the price are only going up from here on forward... It was just 3k for the rare Tyre when @reaper8887 purchased it.. It has gone up to 4300 in March for me... you are saying it cost 4500... Well, I can already foresee the graph lol.... Now from what reviews I have heard CEAT on intercetptor is apparently a great pair for Tarmac and offroad... but Its sad that Indian government takes retarded decision to ban things without creating a backup... If I am a business perhaps Even I would take advantage of this situation have increased the price based on the requirement of the product... The tyres hardly takes 2500 rupees to make selling them for 3800/tyre for delears... dealers selling to Outlet for 4100 and Outlets selling to us at 4300-4500

    Worst tyres u can buy. I changed my Pirelli with ceat. After just 3000 kms the tyre is completely worn out. U can see all the threads inside the tyre. I checked with all the tyre dealers here. They all confirmed that they are getting lot of similar complaints from RE interception and. GT customers. I can share my bill with date of purchase and the present condition of tyre in just 2 months. There is no other option in 18" that's why people are compelled to opt this tyre.

    • @reaper8887
      @reaper8887  3 роки тому

      Even my tyre gave out around 4k kms.. thats too low. , But thats probably due to the soft compound construction, it does grip well, but at the cost of longevity.. hope they'll do something about it on future batches.
