And routed it weird🤷♂️ 2 days while going 2 miles of road “on a smoth clear trail, with minimal bumps, but Little Rock’s” causing the starter wire to run through the wire insalation, spark up and caught fire…… luckily we had sand to put the fire out, as if we where in the streets we would have been stuck with no fire extinguisher or sand:( Now it’s time to change the wire! Wish me luck! And cross your fingers the starter isn’t smoked lol

So I have an 07.. I'm assuming the starter is in the same spot. My problem is dead battery and remote for locks. My question is can I hook a booster box to the starter to get a little power to battery to be able to unlock door's. Thanx for the vid and any suggestions
@TheArchAngel1111 All good brother.. think I just popped the lock out. Don't really remember. The 07 I have has got to be the worst piece of crap I've ever owned. So many problems. I believe there's a parasitic draw on it but don't know the source. Still have it and still works with a boost but have an 05 avalanche now.. so much better and reliable. Anyway.. thanx again
You know what, I think that's an issue with all their cars from those years. Mine also had something constantly drawing on the battery. I never figured out what was constantly draining my battery, but it was a headache to constantly get jumps. 🙃
