My 12 yr old daughter rides pillion on my Busa. She loves it. She has all the gear etc. it’s done wonders for her awareness of traffic and being out on the road etc. deffo boosted her confidence.
I used to take my son on the back when he was about 10 he lived it. I don’t know what gear you have for Ben but I know Helite have a child’s motorcycle air vest, might be worth a look.

As a motorcyclist myself I cannot agree with your neighbour about the mirror mount view as it's like sitting in a car as passenger losing that motorcycling feeling completely. It should be possible tho' to get a better view over the screen (as most do) by puting an extention on your helmet mount to raise the gopro up. Ride safe guys.
Hi and thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately as you will see from my "face on" view the gopro is about as high on the chin of my helmet as it's possible to be without encroaching into my eyeline. I'll keep experimenting. Thanks for watching
@nectx5948 Hi. I use 3 gopro hero 9 blacks. Helmet mount has media mod fitted and a Rode Go lavalier microphone plugged in and mounted to the inside of the helmet. Settings are 2.7k 30fps, hypersmooth on and superwide view.

That's brilliant. I bet you're dreading, as I am, the day when potentially it's no longer cool to go out with dad.
Hope my daughter wants to hop on the back of my bike as she gets older. looks like some good father and son time.
