I'm confused. My Mic 2 connects via BT to my Samsung S20 perfectly. Or is it just when you're using your phone to control the drone? You may or may not know: The Android camera has also got the ability, that if you open the camera app, click on the MORE tab along the bottom, then select PRO Video, then where it says MIC change that to BT MIX. You can then record all your audio onto your phone through the MIC 2 using the PRO video function.
@tojj29 Hi. OK so the issue is that firstly, if I just connect the mic via BT it will only work for calls. If I do as you say and go through the camera app, yes I can certainly record sound using it onto the phone. The problem is that the recorded sound is now on the phone not the drone as would be the case with, for example, an iphone. This has 2 down sides. Firstly the video from the drone and the sound are in 2 different places and secondly there is no ai filter to take out the drone noise. Going forward I'm just going to use the 32 bit float on the mic 2 and run it through the filter on DaVinci Studio. It seems like I should have bought an iPhone but I hate them.
@@Teuchteronabike I hate them too. 🤣
great 360 views the neo is a good peace of kit and fun to use 😊
Honestly I bought it after you mentioned it in a video so I did a bit of research and ended up getting one. The 360 is a game changer. I hated the fisheye view but now I know you can turn it off on the 360 software (it's called dewarp). Just a suggestion but rather than another osmo, I would get a 360 instead. Much more versatile piece of kit.
@@Teuchteronabikeyou have made up my mind I will get the 360 happy days
Hi mate. Use davinci voice isolation to take the drone noise out.
Aye that's what I'll do. I didn't have float turned on for these clips but it is now.
Installing a camera and mic setup on my helmet and the Mic gain was to high using the lavaliere microphone inside the helmet going to the transmitter. Great tutorial thanks again 🙏
Welcome buddy. Glad it helped
Thanks fella , just what I needed 👍
Patersons haven’t shut just moved to bigger premises, not that it matters they stopped all motorcycle services over a year ago and only deal with ATV’s.
I tried my 360 up that high last time out but found it too high for me. Is that the wing mirror you have it mounted to. Where did you get that mount as mine all seem too big for the wing mirror. Mozart may be long dead but it’s all about who owns the rights to the music now. UA-cam should offer us an option where we can use any track for a small fee which would go to whoever owns the rights of the track. Nice scenery what area was that. Thank you for the mention much appreciated. Offer still stands if you’re stuck with davinci.
It was the a710 from Dumfries to Dalbeattie via New Abbey. Nice wee road and a few areas where you can cut down to the sea with drone footage opportunities. The link to the mount is below. It's pretty good, it's got a mount at one end where you take off your wing mirror stalk and put it on (5 minute job). Works a treat but I'm going to attach an extension to the ball mount instead of the selfie stick. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/355627982584?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=RYpGvX2cQM-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=t5gwmh1asbi&var&widget_ver=artemis&media
@@Teuchteronabikethanks. I’ve now ordered one.
@@haggiswhisperer Remember that the nuts on the mirror stalk are reverse threaded.
@@Teuchteronabikewill do mate
I did too many changes and the 360 footage is poor. Sorry about that. I know what I did wrong and have fixed it now.
Great vid nice wee roads. Interested on what mount you have for the insta 360 and where you got it and cost
@@johncarmichael8367 Hi. Thanks for watching. I've put you a link to the mount below. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/355627982584?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=RYpGvX2cQM-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=t5gwmh1asbi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media
One of my favourite roads for a wee Sunday jaunt
The wee road you passed at 11mins:50sec goes past Talla and Megget and over to St Mary's Loch where you can travel down to Moffat via the back road is well worth a diversion off the A701 which is in my opinion an epic road.
@@ewan3900 thanks for the recommendation. I'll give it a bash next time I'm up.
@Teuchteronabike It is a video worthy track no doubt mate .. Happy discovering and safe riding.
Thank you for the ride out fantastic views great Drone shots

Excellent stuff . Subbed
@glasgowharleyrider cheers bud. Returned the favour.
Nice video mate. I did some drone footage at the devils beeftub earlier this year. Do you do other social media if you do can you send me a message.
I did a bit at the beef tub a while ago and crashed it. Had to go halfway down to get it back and it nearly killed me coming back up. It's steeper than it looks and knee deep in heather. Lesson learned though
@@Teuchteronabikethat must have been knackering doing that. It does look very steep.
Lovely video 👍
Thank you for this video. What I don’t understand is this is a DJI Mic and a DJI camera. Why do they have it such that we have to turn the gain all the way to the maximum -12 to have any chance for it not to clip in certain activities. I think it actually needs to go even further in my case moto vlogging.
@RamblinManMoto Many thanks for watching. I honestly think that it's the best combination for vlogging that we currently have. It's still a compromise I agree though.
@@Teuchteronabike Agreed, for me it is the best as well overall. I have tried the others and landed on this one. I thought maybe I was missing some setting and I thought DJI would certainly make their own products Better compatible. I wish there was like a minus 15. I saw DJI support answer someone in another form saying it went all the way to -29 with this camera, but I think that is wrong.
@RamblinManMoto it goes lower if you use the control unit that plugs into the camera (I don't know how much lower) but that means you need the controller attached which adds weight and bulk to the camera. It also means the camera isn't waterproof.
@@Teuchteronabike Thanks for the info. Maybe that’s what they meant. I tend to use the DJI mic 2 inside a full face moto helmet paired to the osmo action 4. Rarely use the RX device. Thx.
Hi i live close to Edinburgh and this is one of my short run roads, just have to watch out for pheasants and logging trucks, great video.
@stuyzfrr6 cheers mate. It really is a great run. If I didn't need a pee I would have turned round and done it again.
😂😂
Epic views mate. Loved the drone footage.
Cheers buddy. I'm learning. Really liked your short with the 360. More adventurous than I could get
Brilliant road trip with 360 views and fabulous drone footage of reservoir with atmospheric music. Loved it!
Glad you enjoyed it
You will never find a happy medium with youtube watchers. Some will say 10 minutes is plenty and others will say 1 hour is good. Your half an hour is good for me. I also think watchers will drift away if you stray to dubbed conversation. My advice to you would be stick to commentary on the bike as you are good at it.
@@dalechamberlain7767 Thanks for the feedback and compliment. Much appreciated 👍
There is nothing better than making to the front on a bike. I came up the rest and be thankful at the weekend with about a 1 mile tail back due to the land slide and straight to the front lol.
What bike are you riding. Is September generally a good time of year to visit Scotland, perhaps a bit earlier in the month
@fredatlas4396 Hi. Thanks for watching. I've got a BMW R1200gs. Yes generally September isn't too bad. Weather is a bit colder but there aren't midges
That’s my exact reasoning to buying the x4 too. Probably about the same time you bought yours. I just export the whole video as a 360 video and can edit it in davinci when I’m doing everything else.
It really is a great piece of kit.
Fantastic views mate, Subbed to you. Just got an X4 and still trying to find the best spots on the bike for it.
@haggiswhisperer Apprciate it pal. I've returned the favour. You're obviously a but more experienced at this vlogging lark than me
@@Teuchteronabikeoh I’m definitely not lol. Still fumbling around.
Nice drone footage but what happened to the 360 views. Friday 13th strikes!
@@NormaGreene-o7e indeed. I recorded the whole trip in slow motion. It would have taken about 20 hours to watch the whole thing.
People South of the Border will be amazed at the Acres of pine forests as they seem to start at Northumberland below that there are very few. Logging in Scotland seems to be a large industry.
Loving the 360 views great to have a bit of sunshine for a few days at last!
It's great when I get the settings right and don't record in slow motion
Great ride love the views from the Dji cameras not too sure about the views from the 360 but it is something new it’s the fish eye views that is a bit different but it is stunning views anyway thank you
@omoab Thanks for commenting and watching. Yes the insta is very new so I'm still getting to grips with it. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it
I just turned 51, got myself a CBR 125 R a couple of months before my birthday, insurance is £564 a year (£200 is because my wife is on my policy and she likes to collect speeding tickets in my car). Wanted a bike when I was younger (dreams of a ZZR1100), but life happened, so i got a car, as a baby chair wouldn't fit on a ZZR... 🤔
@1973retrorabbit Great to hear a new biker coming into the fold. I didn't have an 1100 but I did have the 600 back in 1990/91. I have mixed feelings about it because crashing it put me in hospital for 5 weeks. Ride safe and thanks for coming along for the ride
Brilliant😂
That is spectacular, as you say. Great condition too. Lovely drone footage, everything looks so different from up there. Nice video again 👍
And I must say, you deserve many more subs than you have. That'll go up👍
@tojj29 thanks very much, it's exceptionally kind of you to say
Cracking road the 701. I've done that before with the settings, I filmed a whole ride in timelapse before😂 She about the state of new motorcyclists in this country, such a shame cos they're being priced out of everything. I'm 59 with full ncd, and I pay £168 for my 2018 GS Exclusive. The insurance companies are like a drug cartel, they know exactly what they are doing, and all doing it together. I was lucky, I got to ride the 250's on L plates. I had the legend that is the RD250 and the RD250LC. Great days, great chat, great vid. Ride safe my friend 👍
@tojj29 Yes it's hellish for youngsters. My first car insurance was £37 and covered any driver at 17 years old although, admittedly, the car struggled to reach 70 flat out downhill with a following wind.
@@Teuchteronabike 🤣
Another great road with fantastic scenery. I have clicked the thumbs up but it does not show on the count still shows 0 at my end
Thanks Roy. Probably means someone did a thumbs down before you. I've had a bit of heat and unkindness with the insurance video I did. It's all part of life's rich tapestry 😂
I see you've changed the din hella socket for a dual usb also, good choice 👍 Your 119 subs, is now 120.
Nicely done. Both cautious and courteous.
I just recently sold my 2011 GSA for an 1150 GS. I can’t tell you why, but the 1150GS just gives me more joy and more confidence. The GSA was too good maybe?
I feel your pain, I have the M8 in Glasgow to contend with every day 😂
Edinburgh bypass- absolute nightmare every day
@ColonelBandit the roadworks on the Straiton Rd were much much worse and no room to skip past.

@@Teuchteronabike 😭
It’s many years since I travelled the Langholm road to Eskdalemuir and judging by your video it hasn’t changed much. One of my favourites. Like you I hate the practice of ‘surface dressing’ the road!
Hmm, might not help your editing, but the wing camera good when you're getting a shift on, helmet cam good for when you're bimbling through towns and Insta good for when you've got some panoramic views. Looks like you need all three :D
@@YarekBalear Brilliant. Thanks for the input. That makes total sense. Just means that I need to get better at editing 😂
Another lovely scenic drive ending on a bridge over a bonnie river. Love the new intro well done Ben and you too of course!
You can try using a 360 degree extension selfie stick to clip onto a motorcycle suit, which has recently become popular for shooting 360 degree videos.
Might attach a selfie stick to the bike but not keen on attaching it to myself. Might end up impaling myself if I fall off.
@@Teuchteronabike My mistake. It is to use clips to attach the pole to the metal bracket of the motorcycle.
I think you should move ,your neighbour is costing you a lot of money😄. the 360 is clear and does a good job, well done with the editing.
😂 Thanks Roy. I suspect you're right. It honestly is a bit of a game changer for me though. I didn't know you could have "normal views" rather than the fisheye view I see so often.
Absolutely loved the 360 degrees view it will be great for showing some of the lovely scenery Scotland has to offer. Worth the money I think and a great addition to your show.
Glad you approve seeing as you were the one that made up my mind to get it 😂
Camera was coping well, looks purry decent, if you ask me. I hope Mrs Teuchter wasn't too hard on you about the... Testing protocol... 🤣
Fortunately she got the notification when she was busy with something else so didn't pay attention to the speed 😅
Often go up the A7 through Langholm. Never turned off to go up Esk dale. I'll try and remember that one.
It's a great road, look out for Saturday's video which is the first part of the trip. I would leave it a while before you go up though, there are miles of it with loose chippings.
@@Teuchteronabike Most of Northumberland is covered in them at the moment.
owned my 1150GS since new in 2000. Occasionally think about changing her but then I think why?? She still does big miles without fuss. Newer ones are great bikes but IMO just too much to go wrong and too expensive. Gave the old girl a present couple of months ago and replaced the 16 year old Wilbers with Ohlins. Lovely!!
