Excellent job SpaceX. I think the Nasa and the other companies are jealous of your great success. They should be ashamed of their response of lack of response. I am glad there is one company who keeps spaceflight as a goal and does it.
The reality is that the rapid development of space travel systems requires competition. No one group can maintain a dynamic priority for the multitude of technologies needed. In addition previous success is not a guarantee of future success. Having multiple groups approach the technical hurdles to manned space travel creates an environment that mitigates against point failures. Some sensible discernment in resource allocation needs must be in place to avoid reinventing the wheel many times over. Still it would be better if government red tape could be reduced specifically for the unmanned test flights.
That is why tough times have landed at Boeing, ULA, the Russian space agency, and the European space agency. Their failure to produce updates to their systems has now put them at unreasonable costs to get to space as opposed to Space X reusable rocket system. And China is the only other space agency seemingly pushing to achieve this huge step forward. The only other possible competitor would be Blue Origin. But with the slow cost of manufacturing of the New Glenn, that system will still be slow due to numbers. The U.S. government shows that our business system is not free, because it is trying to level the playing field for those who cannot keep up.
I hope SpaceX is considering an expanded Dragon that had an airlock for rescues and other space activities. As a reusable vehicle this could be used for Hubble and mafe available for many future events and requirements. At some future time it is inevitable that someone's space vessel will be in trouble. Then such a Dragon could be ready to go, and available with the agency in triuble happy to pay the cost.

IMHO, a lot of regulatory scrutiny is growing pains of the commercial space industry, between the FAA and the NTSB, they are two agencies that have helped to make air travel the safest way to travel. Private rocket development and private launch facilities are new to the FAA too, overall SpaceX and the FAA seem to be doing their best to work with one another. The future is to build a robust and safe launch industry as we have in our air industries.

Huge Kudos to SpaceX. I did not realize this was the highest spacewalk since Apollo. Nice! There is one thing that bothers me tho ---- why are women allowed to keep their long hair while weightless. Elon would say 'delete it'........
Not only SpaceX but Dream Chaser should be put into this equation. Include Dream Chaser along with SpaceX spacecraft and launch it at StarBase along with the Starship. As far as the faa is concerned they have shown their true colors-they prefer NASA to SpaceX.
The second Polaris mission seems to lack an objective, if NASA continue to object to a “free” rescue of the ISS, so what next for Polaris? SpaceX develop an airlock module that fits inside the Dragon trunk but attached to the Falcon 9 second stage, to be docked and extracted by the Dragon as the Apollo command ship extracted the LM from the Saturn 4B? That would be good but would be expensive and take too long. Another EVA mission? Test a fully autonomous spacesuit with its own life support, power and manoeuvring unit. If politics are removed from how to be successful in sace, it might just make it. I have great respect for everything SpaceX does, but without politics. If we ever make it to Mars, are we still fighting?
If you are a "flat-earther" and you still believe that the earth is flat... you should be very embarrassed.
If you would believe the conspiracy theories of flat earth and NASA fake manned space flights. Then I would be afraid that one would be too dumb to get embarrassed.
For all those complaining about politics on here. It is rellavent weather you like it or not. Its effecting progress across the board.
Maybe this is why FAA denied Space X license to the 5 th flight of Spaceship. To much success too fast. Boeing's way better. Ha ha ha.
👍👍👍
Huh. Is Bob Iger helping out at NASA?
Who needs government bureaucracy. Especially when your talking about something this important.

"Fly Like A Billionaire."
Congratulations on the successful mission. Everyone watched the first moon landing... very few watched the last Apollo lunar mission. It's not politics. When you have consistently performed well people just don't give a rats ass anymore. So Elon should man up and not be pathetic by whining about it.

What is the title supposed to mean
NASAs Orion will do the same. In simulations 😆
vote Trump 2024
Why? So we can have a dictatorship? What weak-minded individual actually wants to live under the rule of a dictator? Look at what dictators do - they send their men to die in a useless war on a whim.
@@Kr0N05I'm not a fan of Trump... But what party has been weaponizing the justice department and DA's in various states trying to put their political opponents in jail?
@@Kr0N05 you're pretty brain dead if you can't see that the left are the party of war hawks now. there's def a group of war hawks on the right as well and guess what they're all supporting harris (what a shocker)
