TRWD Water Conservation Garden at Mayfest

And now for a moment of zen. Here’s a glorious display of a water efficient landscape, filled with plants that need love but not a lot of water. It’s a joint creation of the Tarrant Regional Water District and Weston Gardens in Bloom, Inc. It takes an incredible amount of effort to bring this garden to life. And it’s always a popular destination at the annual Mayfest celebration in Trinity Park.
The goal is to show people that you can have a beautiful landscape with native and adapted plants that thrive in the North Texas climate. If you’re thinking about redoing or modifying your landscape, drop by the garden to get some ideas.
