Matusalem is from the Dominican Republic I believe. I think the higher aged Appleton's would appeal to you. You should also see if you can get Black Tot. It's younger (5yr old rums), but it's a blend of Guyanese, Jamaican and Barbados rums. If you really want your socks blown off see if you can get any Black Tot Blended Reserves. But they are very pricey. Also check out Hampden 8yr old. I don't know if you'd like it, it's very different, but it could be revelatory.
cool. it would be nice if you listed the notes or flavors and whether you tasted them. for a whisky, novice, its easier to visualize than to remember all the potential flavor notes
