CRITICISM: Responders to Wayne Johnson crash at TMS facing backlash - but did they do it right?

- One of the big moments of the High Limit Racing #debut at @TXMotorspeedway the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track - was around the b-main incident with driver Wayne Johnson. The crash occurred exiting turn number 2, with his car coming to a rest on the back straightaway. Responders arrived very quickly, however, the criticism being faced right now is due to the way they responded. It took around a minute to turn the car up-right, and fans are wondering why. Looking into recent injuries in Sprint Car Racing, it could be the fact that back injuries in the sport, caused the delay in moving the car at all. That seems to potentially be the case on the situation. MedStar is one of the leaders in dirt track racing safety - I truly don't see them not knowing what to do. Regardless, we do also have an update on driver Wayne Johnson as well.

The clown show was more about how the rolled Carney back in to his wheels.
What happened with that.
You definitely want to have enough people to GENTLY turn the car back over. With that big of a laceration, some tendons could be damaged causing the hand to not function.
Chaz is spot on --- let professionals do their jobs in the time needed .... don't judge them until you know why they do what they do ....
I was further down the backstretch wall. The signs on the fence blocked my view but I saw how it got started. Johnson's RF tire hit someone's LR tire and it sent Johnson's front end down into the dirt and catapulted him. I didn't see the rest until a few moments later I finally decided to walk down to where the wreck was. The downpipe was crushed and bent and the cage was all tweaked.

Hopefully he can recover from his injury. Tough to hear that happened.

Only took them a minute to get there and 3 mins to turn it over. That’s pathetic . Maybe they need lessons from Knoxville or Hussets. He would be dead if it started on fire with That response time. You need to get an education and a life. Idiot! You’re on his page he’s not on yours🖕🏻
We need to make arm protecters for sprints now,, we cant have this happen again. He better Wayne, we want you out there
Makes me a little mad.. man wayne is so respected, we love him in Western pa.... it's always a joy when he's in the field. How his arm ain't that bad man.. i want to see him out there
