i dont get what was so bad about jasons coment, my friends and family say meaner shit to me everday. this guy must have worshipped the ground that jason walks on to haven taken that that way. he just called his actions idiot for a guy of his caliber, like, damn maybe i just grew up around people who talk alot of shit and never actually believed people meant things that they said to be attacks that reach the core of a persons soul and identity. he must have just heard him say it at a time when he was going through some very hard times and in that moment it meant alot. to be a billionaire like these guys and work so hard, you kinda neeed to have a chip on your shoulder, you need that strong desire to prove your worth and show the world they were wrong. in the beginning little wayne was the shit, then drake came along and he was the shit, today palmer lucky is the shit and this guy is going places.

JCal, I think you missed the lesson. Showing the old clip again, and standing by what you said, means you still don't understand why you were wrong back then. And then the incongruence of following that clip with an "I respect Palmer" was almost satirical. Clearly *all* the other besties get it, so I'd suggest you have a long private talk with them - or maybe just Friedberg - to figure it out. The lesson is to never take the low road and resort to personal attacks. It may get you cheap points with the mob of the day, but you never know when the person you're disrespecting may do something respectable...

@@Geor9e Do you have any actual examples of Jason attacking Palmer's family? The only quote I've seen of that is the mis-quoted one from the video at the end, so I will fully take back what I said if you have evidence of some other instance where he actually attacked Palmer's family. I'm not even defending Jason's actions, he was an ass and was rude in those clips and went way overboard, but my point is that villifying him and saying that he attacked Palmer's family is mob behavior based on incorrect facts. Even above this comment, someone wrote that Jason said "Palmer doesn't care about his employees, family members, ..." however that is a mis-quote but he said "employees family members" which was one phrase referring to the family members of his employees.
Let's be honest in our critique of Jason, rather than hopping on the mob bandwagon of villifying him and mis-attributing that he attacked Palmers family somehow.

Jcal is my favorite bestie, largely because of his tenacity and head-on attitude. With that being said, it’s evident that it was hard for him to apologize genuinely, hence why friedberg told him to repeat it. And even in the clip segment following the panel, there wasn’t much of a real apology. More of a refusal to back down, which is great in 99% of cases. This was an example of the other 1%.
Ego prevents so many from their true potential. Great content tho, and great composure by everyone on stage. Love ya besties.

didn't know who Palmer was before AIP but found his articulation of the issue to be on point. also inspired by how much courage it takes to not tow the popular line when loud, influential voices are attacking you personally. it would be one thing if Jcal said "I think this was a really dumb move and here's why" but to go on the personal attack made Jcal look small. I can see why it took 3 weeks to edit this episode.
