Awesome to watch Eric and Jordan up on the mountain in that storm just having a great time despite the conditions. Many would complain but these dudes are laughing and smiling like little kids. Those are the kind of friends you want

This video is soooooo REAL! From the dehydrated food prep to using a water bottle to eat out of. Shaving ounces leads to some interesting scenarios in the woods. I had many laughs
Eric, make sure you shoot some practice shots with those lighted nocks. They are most likely heavier than your standard nocks and will likely change your impact point and possibly the tune of your bow. Just some thoughts . Thanks for the great videos.👍

Be careful when cooking in your tent, the fumes can do some damage to you. Awesome video!
On my deer hunt a couple weeks ago my dad forgot to pack our eating utensils so he carved a spork from an aspen branch and it actually worked really good.
eric, i recommend you buy yourself an large heavy duty tarp and tied it to 2 tree and make a canopy over your makeshift kitchen and it provides you and your friends a dry space to hang out.
You know it's going to be a good time when Jordan and Eric are hanging out. Too funny!

I've noticed with my Defiant, it wants to leave as soon as you hit the back wall. Its actually one of the things that I like about the bow it forces me to hold more true that way !

Love the videos guys! Casey, pickled eggs are the Bomb!!! Can't wait for the rest of these videos! I'm not scared of much, but lightning in the high country scares the shit out of me. I got caught in a storm bow hunting Colorado at 12,000 feet, scariest time of my life! I hate the unpredictability of lightning!
Yep, been there and done that. Clouds below me, then around me, hailed til the ground was covered, then rained like hell. Lightning blowing up the trees everywhere.

You're point is very valid. I also think for them to try to create content to be relevant everyday they may just have to fill the void. And I also agree you don't have to be Mr Olympia to be a successful outdoorsmen. However this is the younger generation then myself so maybe they do have it figured out. I do really appreciate the lifestyle. Would be a sweet gig.

never been struck by lighting, but i was in the adirondaks mtns hiking and there was a lighting storm and we were stuck on the other side of mt. marcy(the highest point in New York), we decided to run back over the peak and to our packs and when we got to the other side my friend was like "your hair was sticking straight up i was like thats funny so was yours. neither of us knew our own hair was sticking up just that we knew each others hair was sticking up we both had some flow probably like 7 inches of hair lol

Believe it or not I was involved in a. Lightning related incident on June 13 of 2018. Hit the tree first and then went through my back have entrance and exit scars from it

Me and my dad got hit on an archery deer hunt 5 years ago in nevada. blew him off his 4 wheeler over the handlebars into the ruts in the road. Froze me up on my quad when i came to my head was locked straight up and i was at the top of the hill. Caused severe nerve damage if my dads hands for years. Also crystalized the entire fuel system of his quad. I came flying down the mountain yelling cuz i saw the storm coming and we just couldnt beat it. Never worth it trust me
The same storm took the life of a son / father in utah hunting the next day sadly i heard

I have been watching your videos for quite some time as do quite a few of my friends. I appreciate the effort and the content. Lately when my friends and I discuss your videos we have been agreeing more and more that your videos are slowly becoming commercials for stuff. This video is a prime example. I/we don't have time nor are we interested in watching commercials.
Randy a man had got to eat. This is the hustle. The products these guys are promoting they use themselves and believe in them. If you have been watching there vids then you understand. We may have to put up with a little product whoring but so be it there shit is tight. The way I look at it is they show us the good with the bad. They spend allot more time on the woods then I do. So if they have a great suggestion or product there pushing on keeping it in mind. Keep on keeping on my brother.
I know the end of that made no sense. Just to clarify I feel their product suggestions come with some good testing that we or at least I don't have as much time for. Alright take care
Matthew Holden thanks for the reply. I definitely understand how the game works and I know these guys put in the time and therefore they are the experts and such. They should just come out and call it for what it is. Get sponsored and become an endorsement for the gear/products they are pushing or are getting paid to push. Just don't disguise it. When their videos earlier this spring were all about mountain ops weight loss challenge I quit watching (losing weight is a good thing but don’t spend so much time talking about mountain ops). I tuned back in and have watched the latest 6 videos and the last video was an infomercial for mountain ops. It's beginning to become painfully obvious and annoying. If you put lipstick on a pig it's still a pig. I’m all for these guys and think they do a great job.
Randy A it’s difficult to not talk about MTN OPS, when our founder is hunting with Eric and the purpose of that hunt is to test some new products coming out. Also, Casey loosing 50 lbs. and feeling lighter, happier, and healthier before hunting season it’s a bad message to promote either. You see what you want to see. Good luck this season! Stay positive!

I see you guys are using a lot of E-bikes.. I dont know where your using them but here is an article that explains you cannot use E-bikes on normal Mtn bike trails... just figured you'd like to know before you get a ticket.
