@@ALBANIA_BLOODD Nah, I know him and drive together with him regularly. A stock G80 is usually just regular traffic, but often hard to overtake due to straight line speed.
A yellow number plate means you have to be extra cautious, because the drivers are often reckless and unpredictable.
I guess a prepped car with semis is quicker than a factory car on PS4S. Not surprising.
The main “problem” with these cars is they are so well insulated from the road the speed feels like nothing. Amazing cars!

Sorry - I just can’t into new BMWs or Mercedes…the engine sound, sounds fake…and there’s really no passion with these cars. It’s an awesome sled…and I have a huge respect for BMW….awesome video and beautiful car….very disconnected from the track.

So effortless, with no drama. On video 140km/h and 220km/h feels the same. Nowadays we can travel this track in comfort at speeds that some decades ago were available only to F1. Hats off to the engineers.
Isn’t that a problem tho? Im not paying 100k to fall asleep on track because the car is so isolated from the driver. That’s what people buy soccer mom luxury suvs for, not sports cars

@@cw205mi16are you talking about the shift burbling? I have the M2 G87 and it doesn’t sound like that at all… it’s a 6 speed manual but pretty sure still has the sound piping into the car… though, doesn’t sound fake. the high-rev heel/toe downshifts actually sound terrifyingly real lol
wow thats a fast car. Its rare to see you hit 225kph on the launch before the first turn. Would love to see this without a limiter.
wouldnt change that..its just a speed limiter at 250kph

Very nice, for somebody wants a new car, this is a great one I think, BMW seems hard worked on the brakes ! I only drove 90's M and 2000's BMW and not the same thing :D .

Yes, brakes on old BMW was terrible) My best upgrade in 2000's was an 6-pot AP RAcing to front on my M5 E39 ) and 4-pot Brembo to M Coupe ) I drove G82 on iron Girodisc (instead ceramic stock) and Pagid pads (yellow) with Advan Neova 09, it was not bad now.
I love its little gurgles.

so is there a solution for better brakes on F82 that is pads only and fit in the OEM setup?
try paid rsl1 for the front and rsl29 compound for the rear, it will help on track
Very composed, secure, stable, insulated with fake speaker sounds and weird digital dials. Engine-gearbox absolutely perfect but i don't understand why it feels soo cold. Don't get me wrong the car is great but perhaps too good for its own sake. While I can form an emotional bond with a shitty rusty 1.6 Honda Civic, this vehicle seems completely soulless to me.
The blokes definitely got some bollox on him, giving misha the keys to his one day old car on the biggest and most difficult race track in the world! WOW 👏🏼

I think it's because of the artificial speaker engine noise on the inside of the car
It might be from the exhaust. Remember that they make dumb noise on upshift. It’s also feelable

I think you got a M driver's training when you wanted to take out the speed limiter on their cars - does that also apply when you promise only Misha goes over 250 kph with your car - or do you at least get a discount, then? 😉

Actually, many M3s have the Speed Limiter. When buying the car, speed limiter removal is part of the M Drivers Package, which costs 2,500euro and raises the limiter to 299. For less money you can put a tune and remove all limiters, so not everybody checked that option when new.

Yeah, that's fake sound. If it's the same as on my car (2023 M340i) it can be turned off, yes, it's somewhere buried in the menu under "Iconicsound" and has a toggle switch. That said, it could be that it's only possible on the newest iDrive 8 and according to another comment this is iDrive 7, so I'm not sure if you can turn it off on that one as well. Sounds horrible indeed and from inside the car it sounds even more droning. Really gets on your nerves over long distances. I was so glad when I found that toggle switch. My car sadly is OPF and still I prefer the fake sound off, so that's saying something

Everytime the gear changes up or down it sounds like someone is hitting a drum.... just awful. Car is great but could do either with other exhaust or just turn off the sound system

These cars might be fast, and have nice interiors; but they just seem so boring; makes me care far less about new performance cars. I worked at a BMW dealer a while back and used to get excited when a new model would arrive; I remember a tech that didn't care at all when a new model showed up it was just another car to him, now I get how he feels. My first taste of a (at the time) fast and boring car was the C4 ZR1(was boring even without the luxury) the seating position combined with the not so high revving v8 was just boring, and while the speedo was going up fast the excitement wasn't equal to some far less powerful, I realized then that if you're not racing for money or need to win amateur races to stroke your ego speed isn't everything.
