    Noah's indoor opener in the heats and finals is example of his consistency and being able to clock solid times ahead of major opens and championship meets. I think from these results plus what he done previously, he's capable of running 6.4 high to a 6.5 low at New Balance Grand Prix. The momentum here will build Noah nicely for the outdoor season.

    • @TheFinalLeg

      Agree, that consistency is still there, which has been a staple of Noah's career in recent years. As you said, 6.4 or 6.5 is likely at NB indoor GP next weekend

    World athletics definitely need to classify the 60 outdoor and indoor separately. They’re two different conditions and deserve to be treated as such, it’s a disservice to those who ran good indoor times before and confusing to new fans

      We take the 60m runs in developmental Meets way too seriously. This was the equivalent of training session run for Shericka. As for Kishane (and Noah for that matter), these 60m runs are to help with their 100m. Wins or losses in these races only amounts to giving the athletes and coaches data for the outdoor season. We really need to chill with over analyzing of these early 60m races.

    The times ran by Kishane at Kazakhstan were not surprise to me. Considering his history in the 60m and his recent outdoor 60m race, I predicted that he would run somewhere between 6.4 high to 6.6 low, and that's exactly what happened. I think there have been overwhelming expectations from some fans that Kishane would run a 6.4 low or even a 6.3 from one race that was ran outdoors for his indoor season opener. Different atmospheres, different countries, and different conditions all played into each race. I think what Kishane did here in Kazakhstan was good, and I think once again, people need to hold their high expectations to a pause for someone like Kishane for multiple reasons.
    Firstly, Kishane is still young and very inexperienced competing at international meets compared to other athletes who have been doing so for 5-10-15+ years. Despite this, he still got the victory. Secondly, it seems he still has injury problems that are affecting him. Hopefully, Kishane is able to recover, gets to compete more often pain-free, and builds up towards Jamaican nationals to qualify for the Tokyo Worlds.

      Between 6.4 high to 6.6 low is a WIDE range and is what the majority of pro 60m sprinters run, so it wasn't hard to predict

    • @TheWayWithKhuwayne
      @TheWayWithKhuwayne 9 днів тому

      @@WheeJones 6.49-6.63 were my exact prediction but OK 👍🏾. Unfortunately, not every male pro athlete is capable of running these numbers whether because they aren't specialised in the short sprints or severely lack the speed to cover the 60m so quickly. So Kishane running 6.5 is good for him as an indoor opener as I said. Whether or not he gets in the 6.4 range or faster depends on if he ever commits fully to the indoors and stay healthy enough to complete an indoor season.

    • @WheeJones
      @WheeJones 9 днів тому

      @ All I'm saying is, there are not any legit pro sprinters who can't run within that range. Otherwise they wouldn't have a career. So it's reasonable to expect any of them to run in that range, especially considering that the HS record is 6.5 in the US.
      I want to see Kishane healthy this season so I'm with you on that and hope that he does!

    World Athletics should separate the 60m outdoor vs. indoor marks. And need to differentiate this when promoting these marks on socials. I didn't like the bullying-disrespect I saw in the comments of World Athletics' post of Lachie Kennedy's run. You can't fault him or his country for not investing in a proper indoor state-of-art facility. Indoors is B rate while Outdoors is A rate! No one cares about an indoor gold medal or world record period. The outdoor 60m is the race! Track and Field is and will always be an Outdoor Sport!!!

      @Keetzlol athletics was invented outdoors as an outdoor sport. Cold climate countries moved the sport indoors decades later. Nothing done indoors in athletics will be as authentic and acceptable like the outdoor version. Man can never recreate God's outdoor elements in an indoor arena. Outdoor is King in athletics

      @Keetzlol I ran track in high school. I never ran indoors. The outdoor 100m, 200m and 400m are what it's all about. The indoor 60 and outdoor 60 are both trash in the grand scheme of the sport.

    • @JeeGo-Aries-King
      @JeeGo-Aries-King 10 днів тому

      @Keetzlol it is what it is...the 60m is a sideshow and will never be main event. It's a training race to fix certain issues....nuff said! You run 60m to better your starts, to improve your 100m race. No one runs the 100m to become better at 60m 🤣😂🤣

    Why aren’t you talking about the NCAA times which are actually ppl running indoors. Those outdoor 60m don’t count. What are we doing here. 6.48 outdoors is technically not indoors. Am I missing something here??

      Check the previous videos on the channel. I did a whole video breaking down each individual man in the NCAA men's 60m dash indoors from last weekend and how this year is already better than indoors last year. Most people didn't watch it...You should check it out on the channel if you haven't already. And I have another one coming out as well.
      Appreciate you!

      How can he be another Oblique when Kishane already has an Olympic medal and doing it at his first major championship at only 23 years old? Oblique God bless his soul. I love him too.....but he has been to several major championships and acquired nothing. Make your statemen😂😂t make sense please. Also Noah got his first gold at 27 and it wasn't evn convincing. So please miss us with the nonsense.

      @wallyd6380 touche...but I'm talking in the sense of not performing his best at the right time. Kishane has shown way more speed than his competitors so I think silver for him is a choke. It's similar to Elaine winning a bronze at WC, you just expect more. I get its was his first championship, but like I said, I just don't see him getting gold right now.
      Noah made 2/3 world teams he went after in the 100m and got gold both times...and he won his first global gold when he was 26 in 2023. Plus, He didn't try to make the 100m team when he was younger, so that's an inaccurate comparison

      @@mikelarry3835 Inexperience cost Kishane that Gold medal. Now that he has the experience he's not going to lose to Noah again. Noah on paper may be the favorite but in reality if you look on Kishane's raw speed, talent and power we see with our eyes that he's the more gifted and naturally faster than Noah. It's just up to Kishane to prove what we all already know. It's inevitable! 💯
