trying to figure out practical uses of this keyboard (it belongs to a drum student of mine). I'd like my student to be able to use STYLES as a background track for drumming exercises (playing along with a style at a desired tempo that works for any given drum exercise or groove). Question is... Can one record or loop a chord progression in STYLE mode? I realize in STYLE mode, one can play a chord and have the ACMP play the background tracks as the chords change. BUT, can this be looped and "self play" so my student can in essence play his drums to a background track that is more interesting than hitting one chord and playing along to only that one chords ACMP? Can he somehow get ACMP to play between two or more chords (say a 12 bar blues progression) so he can play along with along with it on his drums?
Im pretty sure e315 has it...its what i use at the parish..though the e243 has touch sense on its lcd.i cant seem to find out how to activate it.on e315 it has separate buttons on the panel.one for each like dual, split, sustain, touch, even aprgio/harmony.just that the parish wont sell it to me though im the only one using it during mass..:(
No, there is no way to connect it to any computer for it has no midi connectivity; if you are looking for a cheap keyboard which has midi connectivity (add thence you can connect to a computer), then choose the KS51 (it works, I know, for I have tested it).
I have the same question. If one of you have ever tested these two, which one do you recommend ? I'll search something lightweight for a beginner, and with a decent/good piano sound. Thanks in advance !
This one or the Casio CTK-2550? I can play a little by ear but any functions that help to learn without it being a "kids" keyboard would be great. Price doesn't matter.

To ZeckDoesStuff and seagoth: "Weighted" does not refer to loudness. It refers to the keys feeling heavier for lower notes and lighter for higher notes as in a real piano. "Touch Sensitive" is the term for how hard you hit the key affecting the volume.
